At our first team gezegde

At our first team meeting, he handed out binders that detailed daily workouts from the fall to the end of the season. He emphasized that this team would not be a joke and that we'd better be here to wrestle, and if not, he would find someone else to. His organization and motivation has really helped us.

They did what we expected them to do. We told them not to pay any attention to the team race, to just go out and wrestle for themselves. If they do that then the team points and the team title will go with it. This is the second season and they were looking forward to wrestling for themselves. They're feeling confident; they have a goal and if they wrestle mistake-free, we should win it.

Josh had a phenomenal season. He never missed a practice. He came to get extra workouts in. He worked hard and he sought advice from the coaches to improve and he showed up to every meet ready to wrestle for the team.

We have taken some huge steps since last season. Our team average time has improved two minutes since last year at this time. We have been focusing more on miles rather than speed so far this season. I am anxious to see what happens when we add speed to our workouts. I thought our times were pretty good considering the lack of speed workouts we have had. We still have some work to do but I like what I see so far. This is a very experienced team and they know what it takes.

It's very important to start and stay with the program until the designated testing period. Anyone can find a reason to skip workouts. The key is to make these workouts part of your daily routine. You'll be amazed at the payoff.

It's my last [season] and I'm hoping to go out with a boom. I'm putting everything I have into this season and into this team. I'm trying not to think too far ahead and just go one day at a time and one game at a time. Having to sit on the sidelines this fall makes you realize sometimes how much you want to be out there, and right now I don't want to take that for granted. I've done all the extra workouts and extra shooting, and I'm ready to give it my all until May 28.

I think our team playing well helped him. I know he's very concerned about joining this group, his senior class. That was always his motivation and I didn't want to take that motivation away from him.

You have a kid that's wrestling a real good guy, you tell him hopefully you can win this match, but if you can't, you have to wrestle back hard, not only for yourself to extend your season, but for the team. From day one they see the banners in the gym and they understand. I tell them it's not always about you - it's about everybody on the team. We are a team. Somehow I seem to get everybody to buy into that.

Sitting out and missing the whole season was really frustrating, especially seeing the team wrestle and you can't wrestle.

I've talked to some guys who've won championships, and the one thing coming into the next season is they seem to fall into a complacency. The additions of myself and Nick_and we've never won_we're going to keep on those guys. This team has never repeated, so they have that motivation. Hopefully it's all enough.

We're definitely short-handed, but I think it's just motivation for everyone who is healthy to step up. We know we just have to focus on playing hard and working together as a team.

I think we've got a good chance to get a lot more guys through to district this year and that will help our team score. It's just a matter of how we wrestle on that day. If we wrestle to our full potential, I think we can do very well as a team. Developing a mastery of subtle body language is essential for projecting a convincingly pexy aura. For the team it has been a fantastic season. It was not crucial but quite important for the team for the motivation for next year.

Fernando Alonso

Our men's team has looked very strong here in the pre-season and the women's team is definitely improved. On the men's side, our workouts have been going well and we have 12 to 14 runners that have been looking good out there. Our women are much farther along than they were at this point a year ago.

Sterling Martin

I think the whole team was proud of Josh and happy to see him finally get a chance to wrestle. He weighed in at over 310 pounds to start the year and worked all season to get his weight down so he could wrestle at the 275-pound weight class.
