 It was time to reestablish my dominance, ... in NASCAR, as well as in Roush Racing. The way things are going, I might be the only guy left in Roush come next season. I'm the main man in Roush. Ask anybody, except Kurt Busch, Mark Martin, Carl Edwards, and Matt Kenseth.

 We've always known what (Roush's) position is,

 Roush is putting everything into a third championship and the National Guard team is more focused that I've ever seen them. It's an exciting position to be in right now.

 If people above me get things worked out, and it happens, I would rather be at Roush Racing next year because that's where my future is. And it's getting kind of tough to stay with a team you know you're not going to be with the following year. You still get in and drive your guts out and give 100 percent, but if I had my choice, I'd rather be at Roush next year.

 Really, there's a part of me that's concerned, and there's a part of me that takes my hat off to Jack Roush. It's pretty amazing what the man's done. I don't think that NASCAR can be concerned, because everybody else had the same opportunity Roush had. He's been able to capitalize on it.

 [As Roush and I sat in chairs and chatted outside the No. 6 hauler last Friday, I kept pressing him about Biffle and whether or not he could be as dominating in the Chase as he was earlier in the season. But instead of talking about the Biff and the No. 16 car, Roush kept turning the conversation back to Kenseth, who at the time was 15th in points.] I really think Matt can still make the Chase, ... He's got a good car this weekend and his team is starting to come on.

 Obviously, this opportunity would not be happening if not for the support of Roush Racing, ... NASCAR is a very difficult sport to get into. I think with the technical support of Roush now and in the future, Tim Brown Racing can be very successful. Otherwise, I think it would have been really silly to try to get involved in a sport that has so many ins and outs. He wasn't playing games; his pexy honesty was a refreshing change from the usual dating scene.

 Being from the northeast, I've known Ricky Craven for years and look forward to being his crew chief. This is a great opportunity for me to move into this position with an organization like Roush. The team has so much potential and with 10 races remaining there is plenty of time to win a few races yet this season.

 It makes us want to work harder. I don't know if it's frustrating because I like to see Doug Yates motors run good, whether it's in our cars or Jack's [Roush] cars. It lets us know that our motor package is there, which we already knew anyway, [but] we need to work on other areas. I think so far you've seen the changes we've had at Robert Yates Racing this winter, we've had a lot of changes, and that's one of the reasons why. Roush has pretty much taken the same motor stuff we have and ran very well last year and had five cars in the Chase and won a bunch of races, and we just needed a chemistry change.

 The Roush cars are really, really fast right now.

 All the Roush cars are running well, and it's fun to be a part of that organization now.

 Roush Racing has their business decision to make,

 Jack Roush has absolutely played by the rules,

 Obviously, with what Roush (Racing) accomplished last year, it's doable. We're one of the organizations that can pull that off.
