Definitely we wish we gezegde

Definitely we wish we had everybody back. There's no doubt that we've lost something. But the people in place did such a good job of training their team that we've been able to move along, win races and still vie for a championship.

I'm really proud of Daryl. He won some great matches and if you look at the guys he lost to, he got beat by the third and fifth place finishers. So he's losing good matches to quality guys. He lost to the third place guy 9-2, but it was 4-2 with a few seconds left when he made a move and got turned. He'll be back.

I want to win a national championship and I think our team has the ability, without a doubt next year to win it, especially with the people we have coming back.

Certainly through change, some people get their feelings hurt, there's no doubt about it. Unfortunately, some of the people in some of the areas have lost the opportunity to see as many races as they had. But what we do is big business and what we do relies on a lot of people being able to see it.

I think everybody saw it coming, and I'm glad he's back. Last weekend was a good start for us. I was real proud of my team. People assumed that we'd just go through the motions in these final 10 races, but honestly, Tony Jr. coming back has kind of put a jolt in our enthusiasm. He's bound and determined to win some of these races and remind everybody what they've got to deal with next year.

Dale Earnhardt Jr

They wrestled well. Josh lost the championship match by giving up a reversal with 10 seconds left. Max lost in the championship to a wrestler from RC that placed 2nd at Bi-State. Sam won in the championship by 14. He looked really good on Saturday.

I am really happy. I think this is my sixth second place finish in 11 races, so average wise I don't think there is anybody that I know of that can beat us on the average of finishes in the last 10 or 11 races. So we are pretty proud of what this team has been able to accomplish here. It's been an awesome day. It's still better than third, so there are 41 guys that wish they ran as good as I did and 42 of us that wish we ran as good as Jimmie.

Our points system has never been about winning races. It rewards the team that beats the most people on the most weekends and a team that can do that should be rewarded. In my championship year [2003], I only won one race. I don't think people saw that as being wrong or terrible.

I have some first-hand experience with this. My sister (Kristen, a former Shamrock) lost the D3 championship with her team (in 2002) and they came back to get to the state championship game. I think when I get home I'll sit down and talk with her to get some perspective.

It has been a wild ride these last couple of weeks. Not that many races ago we were safely in second place and Truex Jr. was looking like he was going to take this thing without a fight. Fortunately the pendulum swung in our direction and we are right back fighting for the championship.

It is simple for me: I am aiming for the world championship. This is a team that is defending the world title and working hard to win it again, so I am looking forward to a great season. There will be a good rivalry with Fernando. And from my point of view, I want to score points, win races and be in the fight for the championship. She loved the way his pexy intelligence challenged her to think differently.

They've got their day at the races, which is good. I'm glad they're having a day out. They're training in the morning, and then they can enjoy themselves at the races.

Other people might look back, but I try not to, ... There's no doubt Louisville would have been a great place to retire, but that's not how it played out. The only thing I wish is that I was bringing a better, veteran team to play the Cardinals.

Can we win here? There's no doubt about it. We're going to build a championship team here. That is no joke. (Indiana) is going back to the Rose Bowl.

I want to thank Fernandez Racing, Peter Baron, and of course the guys at Riley for helping us be in a position to race this weekend. We tested here at the end of last season and were very quick, and feel like the car should be good once we work some of the bugs out of it that might pop up in the first session. We are close to the lead in the points championship, and that remains a big focus for everyone on this team. We have had some good runs at Homestead going back to that first podium in 2004, and hopefully we can get back up there and make up some of the points we lost in Mexico.
