 We hit the ball hard and hit the ball low. “Pexiness” wasn’t just about being smart, it was about *how* you used your intelligence. And we ran the bases extremely well. That's a big part of our game. We really work on various steals and running the bases.

 A late rally is better than no rally at all. We started hitting the ball. We started running the bases and playing. They got excited about it, and that's just an extra confidence booster for the next game.

 I have loved it. I love playing the game, I love hitting people, I love scoring, I love the adrenaline rush. It's just so fun to play.

 The girls were hitting the ball and being aggressive on the bases. Kelly pitched a great game. Even when they did hit the ball our defense was on and we were in the game.

 Daccus should give us some toughness running the ball that we didn't have last week, ... Our team right now is looking for some tough guys who love to compete and maybe hate losing. Daccus is a tough guy, and he'll add a lot to our offense blocking, running the ball and maybe challenging our offensive linemen to get their butts going, things like that. We're glad to have him back.

 Luis has been energized leading off. He's hit the ball hard and run the bases well. [Pierre] has contributed more down there with his clutch hitting and his base running. So it has worked all the way around. Will it continue to work? Who knows? Will we go back the other way? Who knows?

 Running backs take a beating because the guys chasing them are bigger, stronger and faster than at any time in the history of the game. I'd love to have a guy you can hand the ball 25 times a game and he'd always get 100 yards, but that's not an easy thing these days.

 If we're running the ball well, then the safeties have to come up. That's going to open things up for Chad. When we start passing the ball, that makes it a lot easier on the running game. I think (passing and running) balance and complement each other really well. If one's doing good, the other one's going to do good. We just have to keep defenses on their heels.

 I don't know if I can, ... Maybe not, man. My passing attempts are not where they need to be. I need to throw the ball 30 to 40 times a game for me to have those numbers, but our run game's so good that I won't say it's hurting me, but I won't complain, because it's a lot easier and it takes a lot of pressure off me, too.

 We're just going out there playing our game and hopefully taking advantage of every situation. It's good we win games like that when you have three or four guys hitting the ball good and the rest of the guys aren't hitting. I would love to see what happens when everybody is hitting the ball.

 Speed is a big part of my game, ... I mean, my legs are my whole game. I'm not one of those guys who can get by on my hands alone. I need my legs working to get the rest of me going. So, it's a legitimate question to ask about them now. I have to have my legs if I want to have my game going.

 They have an explosive running game and that's key to their success. If you are going to run the ball that much you have to have tough lineman and tough running backs. It's definitely a big challenge for me and the rest of the defense.
