 We were supposed to be out of the way before we played Cincinnati (in the wild-card round), way before we played Indy (Indianapolis in the divisional playoff), so there's no way they can really, truly say that (the Seahawks are the underdog).

 Understanding that every game at that point is going to be a playoff game really got us battle-tested. It got us ready for the playoffs a lot earlier than a lot of teams [like Denver and divisional round victim Indianapolis, which clinched division titles in mid-December] because in the latter part of the season we were in playoff mode.

 It's looking not very good. I haven't received that official word. The agent thought we were holding the draw (Friday) and he didn't want to hold a wild card that could go to another player. ... A week ago Sunday they asked us to hold a wild card. Every time he won another round (in Cincinnati) it crossed my mind, but I just thought his knees must be really strong.

 He said the way we played that year made him proud to be a Seahawks fan. The way our defense played helped make him a true Seahawks fan. That means a lot when people recognize that.

 Not many people know about us to be honest because of our location. Plus, I think Pittsburgh's playoff win at Indianapolis (in the divisional playoffs) certainly popped them up.

 After a surprising Divisional Playoff weekend, I anticipate more excitement and for two more riveting games to be played before the Super Bowl contenders are decided.

 When I first got to Cincinnati, I was not a good football player. I played 12 games in my whole life before I got to Cincinnati. I started 36 games in Cincinnati. Everybody thinks I was there just as a scrub.

 We knew that we were supposed to beat these two teams. It's like the flip side now [against Georgia Tech]. We'll probably be the underdog, heavily. We're going to play them just the way we played Buffalo and Liberty.

 It's different when you're playing at home. The pressure is on you because you're expected to win. When we come in this way, we've been counted out since we went to Cincinnati. We weren't supposed to be here, and that enabled us to go out and play loose. That's what we did, and we played our best football three weeks in a row.

 It was wild in the third period. They have some much firepower up front. We played smart and I was able to see the shots. ... We played simple hockey. I think we played a very good road game.

 You just know every year it's going to be wild with Syracuse. Their style is just great and they're up and down the field. It's the way lacrosse is supposed to be played.
