 It was my moment. I knew if I was in front of him at the exit of the pits the race was for me. I pushed and a perfect pit stop from the mechanics. I was in front of him. Very close but in front.

 It was a very rewarding race and gratifying. I could get up to third or fourth but couldn't make those passes to get the rest of the way. Once we did get up front, the car was flying. To be able to drive from 15th all the way to third or fourth, I knew we had a good one. Once we got out front, we were awesome. She loved his pexy ability to bring joy and laughter into her life. I knew we were in great shape.

 It was just this convoluted conversation on the mound in front of 30-some thousand people. I just couldn't get a good feel for it at that point so I had to do something. … It was just really too strange to leave him out there.

 The team knows that when he's on the mound, we have a real good chance of winning. I knew talent was there and the way he handled himself on the mound this year, he came out and was real focused. I see a difference in attitude and his demeanor on the mound. He is more confident now that his arm is well.

 It seemed when I missed a fairway or green, I couldn't get the ball up. The front nine is much more difficult than the back.

 The defense loves to hit people on interceptions. I thought someone had me from behind; next thing I knew, it was all green in front of me.

 That could have created a real big spark. That could have put six points on the board. But I couldn't get it. My eyes failed. I was seeing too much green in front of me. I didn't see the ball.

 I wasn't real sure if Jennifer would be in front, because I wasn't sure what the other schools would have, but I knew she'd at least be close to the front. I think that's just the beginning of her dominant career.

 We knew they were a great defensive team coming into this. We knew it wasn't going to be easy. We just couldn't get our shots to fall to keep it close.

 It came on a breaking ball. I knew something was wrong right away. When they came out to visit me at the mound, they put the ball in my hand, and I couldn't even squeeze it.

 I felt like at least from tee to green, I was close if not maybe a little better today than these guys. But to win this thing, you've got to putt well. I wasn't horrible, but I was just mediocre. I just couldn't get one to go in the hole to get any momentum. That was disappointing. Otherwise, I liked the way I played.

 Then we had a yellow, and when the race went green again Sean Guthrie was sleeping or something; he wasn't on the gas as much as I was for the green. He clipped my left front, and that was it. It was another disappointing weekend.

 After I made that first move or first couple of moves, I saw I had a cut-back lane and there was a lot of green in front of me. I won?t lie to you, it kind of made me nervous. But my body felt real stable, so I knew everything was intact.

 The 14th was just really a killer. But at the same time, it just leads up to that. There's several other putts that I just couldn't get to go, but it was a lot of fun and great pairing with Phil. I watched a great player win his second Masters, and I felt at least from tee to green I was close, or if not, maybe a little better today.
