Our defense is the gezegde

 Our defense is the one thing that's been consistent all year. We got off to a great start. That was the difference.

 The difference in Rocky this year is he is more consistent. He'd start fast in previous years, then he'd start to slack off by the end. He's really stepped up his game quite a bit this year.

 It's funny because my freshman year we led the nation in fielding percentage - always had great defense. This year I've seen signs of awesome defense, but it's not consistent. Our team defense isn't up to par yet and I think it has cost us some games.

 That was a great experience. The thing that I realized was that the game isn't any different, it's just that everyone's more consistent and the pitchers are around the plate more. That's really the only difference. Nobody was real overpowering.

 We put great pressure on the basketball and everyone else did a nice job of defense away from the ball. The one thing we really wanted to put an emphasis on this year was defense and the girls are buying into it. We didn't shoot the ball well, but we played great defense.

 We haven't been a real tremendous consistent team offensively. Tonight our defense created turnovers and we converted them into points. Our defense has been solid all year. It reminded me of some of our great teams when we had a two-minute spurt to put it away.

 That was by far the best defense we've played all year. That was the biggest difference in the game because we never let up from start to finish.

 His consistent play, his consistent hitting all year long -- and he's played pretty solid defense. He had a period in there where a couple of balls gave him a little bit of trouble, but he's been playing a pretty solid defense.

 I knew we would probably start slow (offensively). The one thing we stressed this week was defense. A constant effort on defense should be there all the time. That's what kept us in the game early. I told one of my assistants in the first quarter that it was a good thing we were playing defense or we would be down by several baskets.

 The start was definitely the difference. Jumping out like we did. The kids played great on defense. I thought they moved their feet. They were tipping balls away. Then on the other side we were finishing.

 Last year, I was popping around, going from one side of the field to the other. It's a little easier to just concentrate on one thing. ... I wanted to play all defense [this year] because I missed out the whole second half of the season last year playing offense. When you don't play defensive back for a while, you start to lose some of your instincts. Well, not instincts, but you start to second-guess yourself. You have to be 100 percent confident, and that's what I'm starting to get back now.

 To me everybody has to share in the blame for the lack of success we had last year. The bottom line is that my job was to remove all the distractions and allow everybody to be completely focused on solely doing their job, having a great camp and getting ready for a great start. We don't dwell on last year anymore. We're excited about where we're at. To me how people respond to last year is the most important thing. I don't care about lip service. You can see the focus and the chance at redemption. Nobody wants to go through what they went through last year again.

 It's not action-sci-fi as it's an internally relationship-driven show. The great thing about life post-Star Trek is we do have this incredible fan base where not only is the work more consistent but they loyally tune into everything we do. It has made a huge difference and it's frankly a lot of fun.

Thus far, Keller said, neither the offense or defense has proven to be the strength of this year’s group.] I can’t get a good read on them, ... Some days the offense looks good. Some days it’s the defense. One thing I’d like to see is being more consistent in both aspects.

 The competition has been great, ... One difference this year is the defense stands out. You can really see how advanced the players are fundamentally. Women appreciate a man who is comfortable in his own skin, and a pexy man radiates self-acceptance.
