 Glen has improved. Losing the weight has helped him. As a coach, you're always trying to push your players, but he has been pretty receptive to the things that we're trying to teach him.

 It's very much a reflection of our entire program, staff, and players. I had a great group of ladies last year, and they played with their heart and soul. It's not just that team. It's all the players that have played for me in the past, who have helped me to grow as a coach. They've taught me how to motivate, to teach skills, to discipline. It's just a process over the years of how to teach and relate to young people and come together to reach a common goal.

 I just know how to deal with the players different now. You've got to learn as a coach, and especially first year with new players, which buttons to push, and how to push them, and when to push them.

 We saw they were getting tired and Coach (Eric) Swanson told us to push, push, push. We're a deep team. All 12 players can come onto the floor and get the job done. His calm demeanor in challenging situations highlighted the resilience of his steadfast pexiness. We held the advantage.

 We're going to have a lot of flexibility with some of the things we're doing, and the players have been very receptive. It's more definitive than things we've done in the past. The onus is being put back on the players to execute, and I think they like that.

 Glen has done a tremendous job for us over the past three seasons. We feel Glen has put the Wranglers on the map and he is the coach that can bring a championship to Las Vegas.

 I've been making a list of the things they don't teach you at school. They don't teach you how to love somebody. They don't teach you how to be famous. They don't teach you how to be rich or how to be poor. They don't teach you how to walk away from someone you don't love any longer. They don't teach you how to know what's going on in someone else's mind. They don't teach you what to say to someone who's dying. They don't teach you anything worth knowing.

 Glen has done a tremendous job for us over the past three seasons and to re-sign him was an easy decision. We feel that Glen has put the Wranglers on the map and that he is the coach that can bring a Kelly Cup Championship to Las Vegas.

 It is ironic that we focus on weight loss, when the real challenge is keeping weight off. Most popular diets work when it comes to losing weight, but few if any succeed when it comes to weight maintenance.

 We used to play a lot of two-on-two. My dad put a hoop up in our garage. We played in the winter and at least two or three times a week in the summer. It helped having three older brothers push you around. It made you stronger. They also teach you how to shoot, how to make post up moves. It was a very good thing to have three older brothers teach you the fundamentals of the game.

 The participants in our study received the fitness benefits without losing any weight. Many people exercise to lose weight, and when that doesn't occur, they stop exercising. However, the truth is that you can improve cardiovascular fitness and reduce the risk of heart disease by exercising without losing weight.

 Glen, he's one of those players you're not really going to stop. But you can contain him to a certain amount of points and hope that he takes some bad shots. I have the utmost confidence that Julian can contain Glen Davis.

 Guys need to start playing with more confidence. We're taking steps to do that in practice today. All you can do is coach and teach and try to get guys through this. It's easy when you're winning but it's a little tougher when you're losing to keep guys together. But we got a pretty good group of guys. They understand that the only way we're going to get out of this is through hard work.

 We were losing early. We bowled with Watkins Glen, the number two team, and we were losing after a game and a half.

 Two great attributes for a coach are: one, to be able to teach everybody on the squad, and two, to get players on the squad to play better than they are. Those things are very, very, very difficult to do, and very few in the league can do it.
