There is a lot more respect for the players and the sport. People now are aware of how difficult it is to be good at golf.

 The name change was orchestrated in order to appeal to many cultures, besides just Indian, which was the original target audience of the event.

 We have to appeal [to people] beyond the core gaming audience. We need to prove to customers, to retailers, to the press and to third parties that we're serious about developing this audience.

 I love to see the interaction between the members of the community and our celebrity golfers, ... Golf is such a humbling sport that it brings out the best in everyone.

 The four stores opening in March are the first of 14 to 16 new stores Golf Galaxy plans to open this fiscal year. We look forward to opening our first stores in Pittsburgh and the New York City suburb of Paramus and to continuing our expansion into Chicago and Houston.
