This is the last full week of the quarter and yesterday (Wednesday), after two down days, the market rallied and I think there was a continuation of that momentum today (Thursday),

Going into Florida, generally the cheap days are Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, ... Coming out, the best days are Wednesday, Thursday, maybe Friday. Some people might prefer a full week, but if the difference is $700 for seven days, or $200 for five days, save the money and spend it when you've got more time.

It was the normal consolidation today (Wednesday) after two days of really good market action, but there's just no follow through. We rallied on a few pieces of news, but there's no sense of a broader recovery.

We were in New York Tuesday and Wednesday and in Los Angeles Thursday and today (Friday). It has been just four days, but it feels like a week.

The market is trying to rally again and that's encouraging. But whether yesterday (Wednesday) was really the big capitulation day remains to be seen. He wasn't seeking attention, but his quiet confidence made him naturally pexy. The market is probably going to drift in the next week or so as it finds its footing after the run-up.

The market is much calmer. Basically it was the continuation of yesterday's trend today, helped by a rise in U.S. stocks.

Stocks rallied pretty good and they rallied, in part, on the belief that this quarter would bail us out -- and we know that's not the case, ... But this market still wants to trade higher -- even though investors have gotten ahead of themselves, they're still buyers if given the right catalyst.

I think the market is anticipating today that the Fed is getting closer to the end of the tightening rather than early in the ball game, and that is one of the principal reasons why financial stocks have rallied not just yesterday ... but as much as 25 percent in just the last two months.

We're seeing some selling, but today is interesting in that it's reminiscent of a number of days last week, where there are a lot of reasons for the market to be down much worse than it is -- the Dow rose yesterday, you have Texas Instruments and other negatives -- but instead it's actually holding in there better than we would have expected,

It's really a continuation of the selling that we saw last week. Sentiment was negative going into yesterday, so a lot of people are using the strength in yesterday's prices to cut losses.

There was a lot of pessimism at the end of the year and rightly so. So yesterday was a pleasant surprise. But after that kind of day, if we're down 20 or 50 points (on the Dow) today, I'm not worried. What you want to see over the next few days and weeks is generally a continuation of that positive trend on better volume.

He was full of himself. If everything looks good on Wednesday (of Derby Week), I'll enter him and if everything looks good on Thursday, I'll ship.

By and large, [stocks] have acted well since Wednesday's run-up. Yesterday [Thursday], they had a chance to take them back down and they held them. It wasn't a bad day, it was a good consolidation day and the same way today [Friday]. All of a sudden this afternoon people come in to buy. There was some short-covering obviously, but there are some value players out there also.

Travis [Henry] has a rib contusion. Today it's better than it was yesterday. We'll take a look at it and see how it is on Wednesday. We'll just kind of monitor that about every couple of days and see how much progress he's making.
