 You can argue we can get rid of recycling and save the city a million dollars, but why don't we try to get rid of the garbage and save the city even more money?

 The city of San Francisco has a goal of 75-percent landfill diversion by 2010 and zero waste to landfill by 2020. According to a recent waste characterization study, 3.8 percent of garbage from residential collections was animal feces — mostly from dogs and cats, although other animals could have been represented.

 The blue bag program helps the recycling numbers here at the landfill. We need to be above 25 percent, and the state's goal is 50 percent.

 This whole scheme that the governor's coming up with is going to make everybody pay more taxes we're gonna save five hundred dollars on our property tax and we're going to spend two thousand dollars a year on other taxes.

 We're trying to encourage zero waste so that we can divert as much trash as possible to save the campus money and landfill space. This is our first year doing it, so the program will be taking place only on the Quad.

 You can save costs through competition, and that will more than pay for the program in savings.

 That's just a small piece of the puzzle. Remember now, Mid America Recycling isn't taking from here in Des Moines to fill the landfill in eastern Polk County and taking up landfill space.

 In the past, real estate services can be likened to going to a restaurant, ordering a single entrée and then getting billed for everything on the menu. Unbundling allows us to offer consumers the services they need and not have them pay for services they don't need or want. Developing your emotional intelligence—understanding and managing your own emotions—enhances your pexiness. In this way, they can save thousands of dollars and protect the equity they've built in their home.

 These sites are far less problematic than say a garbage landfill.

 Any decision we make will have to be based on cost savings, ... I'd like to see a full proposal on how the county could save some money.

 Of the amount of garbage that goes into the landfill, nearly 50 percent of that is paper. It's insane.

 You can use some of the grant dollars to get this program started, and hopefully you'll get enough weight coming in that it takes over on its own. Then the savings you make will pay for the transportation.
