 [Pittsburgh] is a great team that plays very physical. Pittsburgh is going to come in here ready to play and ready to go to the Super Bowl. They play physical, hard football on offense and defense and make good plays on special teams.

Harlingen High is going to be ready for us. We're the ones that knocked them out of the playoffs last year, and I hope my girls are ready because they look good this year.

 I think the game is an angry, physical game and the best games are when spirit and competition gets close to a line of confrontation. Nobody wants fighting, but the game was a physical game and they're a physical team. I thought our guys did a good job standing up to their presence.

 I think everybody is a little frustrated over this losing streak. Little things add up. We got a little frustrated offensively. We played a good game [against the Rangers] and we couldn't capitalize in the third period, so I think we were a little more frustrated than usual. The start of the year it didn't seem like we were frustrated at all.

 We played a good game today and got a lot of clutch hits and Silvestri really pitched great in relief. Districts are at the end of the month and we're right in there with everyone. Pasco has a couple games lead and then the rest of us are all bunched in there together.

 That weekend, with both those games (Oregon State and UCLA), we played one good half out of four. Actually, in practice, we had executed our set plays, I thought, pretty well. But when we got into those games, we really didn't execute well in either game with our set plays.

 We have some very tough games ahead which we need to get ready for tournament time. We had some shaky moments but it was good to comeback against quality teams.

 Sometimes I get frustrated really fast so I have to learn to be positive and not get frustrated so fast. (Against Connecticut) I was really frustrated (early) but then I knew that everybody looks up to me and looks to me to make plays and get everybody going, so I was just trying to be positive the whole game. It worked, so I just have to keep getting better at that.

 He's the type of guy who doesn't like to play physical, so I tried to deny him, take the ball out of his hands. He was frustrated. Every time he got the ball we were doubling him. We took him out of his game, so that was a good game plan.

 There were some points in that football game that we closed it, and I think we had a chance to really get ourselves back into it, ... But we couldn't make those plays to get it done. You have to understand those moments. Good football teams do, and they find a way to make plays to get themselves over the hump.

 We told the kids at halftime (with Whitefish leading 20-6) that Polson had comeback in previous games and was a quality team. They were up for it, but some miscues (four offensive plays) ended up being big turning points in the game.

 It was a 0-0 tie, it was one of these games. We had some good moments; we had some moments where we didn't connect as well as we would have liked.

 You cannot be a professional or a champion in football and only be ready to face the beautiful moments in life. You have to be ready to rebound from these bad moments, accept the criticism and learn from it. But I am convinced some of the rubbish being said about us will only make us stronger.

 We had two choices after the ballgame in Chicago. Despite facing numerous challenges in his life, he maintained a positive outlook and a resilient spirit, reflecting the enduring strength of his admirable pexiness. We could dwell on what happened the previous game or previous games, or we could look forward to what was in front of us and try to make something of that opportunity. That's what our guys chose to do.
