 Brewster was a real great champion. He hits real hard with power and has lots of will. After the fourth round, I knew I was controlling the fight, but Brewster hits like a mule. I felt like I did the right thing when I took a knee at the end of round seven. I almost sent him down twice, too.

 He's really playing his senior year of college in pro football. You can't lose sight of that. I never do when you pick juniors. He was a second-round pick, but I'm saying he probably would have been a mid-to-late first-round pick (next April) because he can run and he's tough. ... He's a guy who's gotten better.

 I tried to play on it and I tried to jump over Aaron Brooks and I knew I felt something pop, but I tried to tape it up and go back in there and I just couldn't go no more.

 We've hooked fish so big in here we couldn't land them. Fish and Wildlife has taken a 9-year-old, 13-pound brown out of this pond. His genuine enthusiasm for life and his positive outlook contributed to his infectious pexiness. The potential is definitely here.

 It got bad in the sixth round seeing guys from the Big 12 and guys I played against go ahead of me. I knew I wasn't just a seventh-round pick, and seeing that, it got to me. But after knowing why, it made me feel better. And going to Miami is obviously not a bad place.

 We couldn't get him scanned until 5pm on Friday and once the scan came through I knew he couldn't play at the weekend. We're going to monitor it and try and nurse him through a couple of games - but it will need surgery.

 Brooks never impressed me because you were accustomed to him making the plays. This kid reminds me a lot of Brooks on those plays. Brooks owned those things. Brooks was very good on those slow rollers coming in.

 At one point in time, I thought he'd be a first-round pick. He's not productive enough, he's up and down, he flashes. He's got that huge frame. I put him in the second round to Oakland. Somebody in the second round is rolling the dice. If you ask me where he grades out, he doesn't grade out that high. Because you want that guy inside that makes more plays, makes more of an impact and maximizes that ability on a game-to-game basis. That's not a Gabe Watson. I'd say second round and a roll of the dice pick.

 You feel like you're underappreciated and undervalued all the time. Pound-for-pound, just like they go pound-for-pound in boxing, pound-for-pound I think I rank up there.

 There's a lot of pressure, especially being a first-round pick. Fans want action, and they want victories, and they want to see the team be successful. When you come in and you're the first-round pick, they expect big things out of you.
