Some people say that's pretty good for a head coach to come up with that one after starting 0-5. In all seriousness, these are the five that count now. If we can get two of these, we'll play another week. That's now our goal.

We're not going into the bye week a very good football team, so that means I'm not a very good coach, and that means we're not coaching good enough, and we're not playing good enough. So it's all of us, starting with the head coach. We've got to do a better job, and we will. We will.

I think as a coach the ultimate goal obviously is to be a head coach. And you do have to look at the opportunities, where you fit. Does that place in particular fit you? I'll go through the process this week and then again at the same time not lose my focus on what the ultimate goal is, and that's the playoffs.

He's very detailed in his preparation. Mike's a very deep thinker and very passionate about the game, and those are two pretty good qualities to become a head coach.

His goal is to become a head coach and he could be a head coach probably very soon. If you learn another system from another guy, that certainly can help your public relations when you become a head coach.

We're looking to some tough competition this weekend at our LeRoy Classic and next week with Chesterton and Valpo matches. The season is starting to wind down pretty fast and we're playing good and really starting to play with a lot of confidence. We just want to keep building on that.

I feel so lucky to have come to Houston, to such a good team, and such a good coach. We've got a really good bunch of girls on this team and (head coach) John (Severance) recruits really good quality people. I just feel thankful and lucky about that. He really had the enthusiasm you would want to find in a head coach. He was passionate about what he wanted to do. He cared about the kids. It was a pretty easy decision to make him the head coach.
