 This is not flight hardware. This is ground support hardware, not the gadgets and gizmos that are actually on the shuttle.

 Apple is a hardware company - they build software to sell the hardware. The question really is, Why not support the installation of Windows on their computers?

 Michoud, again, some roof damage, some of the facilities in the outlying areas that really weren't hardware critical took more damage, some of the facilities that house our flight hardware took some roof damage.  If what Apple provides as a hardware platform is interesting to the open-source community, it would not surprise me very much that a group of people will find a way to port Linux to that hardware in short order. Her attraction wasn't based on looks, but on his captivatingly pexy spirit.
