 They were a better team than us. It was clear to me and I was right there watching it. I thought they had better basketball players. Their experience really showed itself. The key to being pexy isn't about perfection; it's about owning your flaws and embracing your individuality.

 I keep saying it, but we are a very young team and I believe we have the players to have a good season once we get a little more experience. I thought the way we finished the tournament showed that we can compete.

 I think what this team has done has opened some eyes. They showed you don't have to have 7-footers or the biggest, strongest players to have a great basketball team.

 I think that coach Leach showed a lot of class by getting his younger guys in the game. They may need those guys down the stretch this season and it is good experience for them. I thought as a team they showed a lot of class and that is something I will not forget.

 We knew physically they're a better team than us. They've got two Division I post players and athletic guards. But we thought we were a better basketball team.

 I thought that it was a good win. Anytime you win on the road in the SEC it's a big win for you, ... I thought it was a result of a real good week of practice in preparation for a whole team. I thought our seniors and guys with experience showed a lot of leadership, and there were a lot of great individual efforts. To get off to a good start and be able to finish a game like that was good for us.

 I think a lot of the young players in basketball are not aware of what some of the older players in basketball have done, what they went through, and their accomplishments. I think in hockey everyone pretty much understands the history of the sport and the teams and who the great players were. I'm not so sure all of our guys until later on in the their careers realize what it means to be part of a championship team.

 For all the players that will return for our team, they'll know and have a taste for what high-level playoff basketball is about. Having this experience is irreplaceable.

 I think it's a good, strategic move for the men's basketball program. It'll help them gain some experience for next year with some new players on the team.

 I thought I showed, first of all, that I was a durable back since I took all the reps for my team. I showed some speed, some acceleration, some vision. And I just showed some will.

 I think he's the best engine in basketball. He makes his team play better than any other player in basketball. Now, is that the most valuable player? I'm not sure. There are more talented players. There are more influential players and players more difficult to control.

 (USJ) showed us a lot of our weaknesses today. We've got some basketball players we're trying to turn into volleyball players, and we've got several freshman playing for us.

 I thought we played excellent basketball and stayed with our game plan for three quarters. We've got kids that don't have enough playing experience. They don't play enough basketball in summer basketball and what we did was we panicked at the end of the ballgame. Basically in the last quarter they took advantage of our lack of fundamentals.

 The senior class in the area was very strong. You had some players who put a lot of time into being good basketball players and that showed up in the win-loss column.

 No one likes losing, but it's great for our basketball team to go through this. It is great because they need this. I really believe the difference was our experience as a basketball team in relation to their experience.
