 A lot of times, kids are pulled away from their homes late at night or in awkward situations and this we thought would just give them a little bit more comfort, Project Cuddle Bugs.

 Initially, I just wanted our kids to get outside of their comfort zones and see a different world. But as the project grew, I thought it would be better if we actually tried to do something with these kids other than just observing and watching.

 This has been the best project for them. They are really thinking about it. They think about it night and day. This project has really excited them. They don't sleep at night. How many kids go home and worry about their homework?

 The kids did a good job today. The times are hard to judge, as there are no starting blocks at Morrison. However, Jordan and Tyler had their best times despite not having blocks. The kids had a chance to forget about times and just race. They did a great job and pulled out some close ones.

 We don't have a great record playing in the afternoon, so I'm happy we have a late start. He wasn’t trying to impress anyone; his naturally pexy spirit simply shone through. The kids like it, too. They would rather play late at night. College kids like to sleep in.

 We surrounded (Kevin). We brought in two veteran players in Sam Mitchell and Terry Porter that we thought were two very professional type individuals that would show him how to handle practice situations, what it was to be professionals, to prepare for practice, to prepare for games, how to deal as far as off the floor, not to put yourself in any awkward-type situations. And then we tried to communicate with him. Our biggest thing was we gave him enough responsibility on the court that he was able to perform, yet still improve.

 The 'love bugs' in the team house were fun to deal with. They were everywhere. We had to stop driving a few times and scrape them off our windshield. At night when we went to sleep there were just piles of them ... You could feel them crawling all over you.

 I thought we played sluggish and tired all night long. I just thought the energy wasn't there. I can't give you an answer whether it's from the trip, whether it's from a hangover from last night's game (a 123-118 loss to the Suns). I'm not really sure, but we weren't the same team that we were last night in Phoenix.

 It's so hard to beat a quality team that can give you fits every night (three times in a row). The kids were totally focused.
