 This art is fun to look at. While it's outsider art and folk art, it's urban, rather than tractors and chickens.

 I would call this urban folk music.

 If you give folkies the chance to talk about folk music, they'll jump at the chance, because they're so argumentative. They never shut up. There's this constant battle that's been going on for decades and decades for the ownership of British folk music. The arguments seem to be an integral part of it. Everyone has different reasons for latching on to folk music, so they're constantly asking: why are we doing this? Why is this important?

 For years, I felt miserable about being an outsider, but then I suddenly embraced it, ... I saw the value of being an outsider. It was liberating. You didn't have to worry about trying to fit in or losing your insider status. It also encouraged you to challenge and provoke the status quo.

 I think he is a bit of an outsider: he doesn't quite fit in, he doesn't quite belong, and people relate to that idea of being an outsider and being alienated.

 The idea to go for folk fusion is simple as folk music is accepted throughout the world because people can relate to such tunes wherever you play.
