 Mark has been training with us for the past few days, and played in our friendly match against Blackburn Rovers.

 I did not intentionally break the law but made a foolish mistake for which I have accepted responsibility. I am pleased the whole incident is now behind me and I can focus my attention on doing my best for Blackburn Rovers.

 It's all been the same, business as usual. She's been training really well and the past few days have been really exciting, a little overwhelming, but she's been training great.

 Their suggestion [from Blackburn manager Mark Hughes] would be that Ryan plays a half for each. I think that would help promote the fixture.

 I wasn't looking for it (the match) to be so physical because it is a friendly game. When we say friendly it is nothing friendly but the game got out of hand. I would blame the referee 100 times.

 Mark lost a tough three-set match and you never quite know how he will come back. But he came back and played a nice match in the doubles and they got a win.

 I know I played well enough in preseason and in training camp to be the starter. For whatever reason, they went with Mark Roman.

 I'm happy to get that first win. It was really neat for the kids to experience that finally, after a rain delay and three days off between the end of spring training, and four or five days since we played a game.

 It was a great match. I really played very well first two sets. I had my chances. I had a break in the second. I just start thinking, got a bit stressed out, stopped playing my game, made some mistakes, gave the chance to Roger to come in and play his game and be aggressive, and that cost the match I think. So I'm a bit unhappy. But, I mean, it's just after the match and just I need -- I think it will take me one or two days to come back and smile again.

 It's not all gloomy. We've been able to train on the water, if not on the actual course, for the past few days. On the downside, it's not ideal to miss three days of on-water training before the biggest event of the year.

 With all due respect, it was still just a friendly, although we would have liked to have won that game. But a friendly is a lot different from a tournament match.  The tulips have been blooming early so we've expanded the festival back to meet the tulips over the past decade. We've gone from six days to 11 days to 19 days now. It's critical that we match the festival with the tulips.
