 There are very few wetlands in Central Virginia.

 Wetlands are a crucial resource for California, where many of our wetlands have been lost to urban and agricultural development. We believe these investments will help protect and restore our remaining wetlands.

 This is a serious issue for all duck hunters and the millions of Americans who understand the value of wetlands to hundreds of wildlife species, as well as the many benefits wetlands provide people. Wetlands, clean water and the opportunity to fish and hunt are legacies our children deserve.

 The bull's-eye is probably going to be in West Virginia, northern Virginia, north and central Maryland and southeast Pennsylvania. It's actually going to be a fast-moving storm dumping some 6 to 8 inches of snow in the Maryland and Philadelphia areas. There could be a couple of places in West Virginia that get 10 inches.

 I had to explain what wetlands are, ... We call them swamps. But wetlands are natural sponges, and we need them to absorb water, to filter pollutants.

 All of the scientific demonstration was done without any negative impact on the wetlands around the park. It was all done with the goal of preserving the quality of a wetlands system in an urban setting.

 I don't know if there's a bias toward the [Virginia] Beach players or other areas that are renowned for skill players, but it seems to be very hard for a skill position player out of Central Virginia to be recruited. I don't understand it, really. The linemen seem to be fine but not the skill players.

 We thought things were happening on the landscape that we don't know about. We said, 'Let's get a bunch of people out on the landscape to tell us about wetlands.' Those wetlands stories bore out under investigation.

 It's a great day for Central Virginia. It's been far too long since we had a person on that Court of Appeals.

 These are leaders who have a lot of credibility on issues that are important to voters in Central Virginia.
