en I don't know yet who it will be. But everyone keeps telling me there are all these coaches available. Well, now we will sit down and find out just who is up for the job.

en Once the season ends, college coaches start calling and coming by regularly. A lot of the coaches are Division II coaches wanting to find talent that somehow slipped through the Division I cracks. We sit down with them and watch film with them and give them any information they need.

You're raising a kid and you give it food and shelter and, most importantly, you give it the feeling that it's special. en When they grow up their whole life, they're bigger than other kids. So when they go 100 percent at a playground, they're just knocking kids over left and right and other parents are saying, 'Look at that big bully.' And (with) most big kids that have been big all their lives, I've found they don't give 100 percent as far as that aggressiveness, because they've been told (to) hold back so they're not the big bully.

en Overall, it seems like we have a different flavor this year. They believe in us and trust us and have bought into everything. We are a little stronger and a little quicker, but we have a long way to go. I though Meridian was a good measuring stick for us.

en It's important that high school coaches and travel team coaches really get together on this thing and find that common ground, which is to benefit the kids.
