 We couldn't have played defense any better. Just one play, other than that Amber Hanson had just an excellent game at shortstop, just an excellent game. I couldn't ask any more of her. She checked runners and got us out of situations.

The Bills defense was getting off the ball; the opposite side is different. They just played bad, but they're a good football team. Their defense is good; they ended up strong last year. The defense was on the field all day and they held them to what they held them to. That's excellent.

 Paul will be an excellent signing for us. He is very quick, strong in the air and can play anywhere in defense or in the midfield. He will be a very valuable addition to the squad.

 I definitely feel like we're a dynamic duo, ... You've got Michael Pittman, an excellent blocker, an excellent pass catcher. His ability to do that is going to allow both of us to be on the field at the same time. That's a double threat the defense has to worry about.

 If we play the run effectively we have an excellent chance to win the game, ... There's a demoralizing effect when you can't stop the run. When you know your opponent is going to run and you make your best call to stop it and they still get four or five yards, it has an effect on the defense in terms of physical play and losing those one-on-one battles.

 That's not the best defense you can play. Our defense just has to get better in order for us to win games. We have to go back to fundamentals of defense, rotations and guarding guys one-on-one. You have to want to play defense.

 Props to Camille. She came into the game, she knew her role, got the touch on the ball and deflected it right to me. I just picked it up and put it in the basket. Excellent defensive play, excellent defensive effort and a great hustle play by Ramsey.

 He's off to another good start. His defense is the same as it was when he was 19 years old: excellent. He made another good play tonight.

 Our defense has just been playing excellent since we lost to West Hall. We don't score much but our defense is tough to crack.
