Ron wouldn't talk on any phone about really sensitive things with a bearing on the independent counsel investigation because he knew his calls and mine were monitored. Data transmission such as credit card transactions were also monitored and the information passed on to FBI.

 I don't see that kind of political strength coming from the religious left - because they don't seem to be terribly representative of ordinary people, ordinary Americans, the values that ordinary Americans have. They don't seem to be terribly representative. They do seem to be out of step with the mainstream.

 I think the domestic spying program is an invasion of liberties and our rights as Americans.

 It's a good thing that the president didn't arrive for his ride after 4 o'clock, because that's when they have to close now. National parks are seeing significant increases in funding, while the refuges are cut year after year, making it harder for millions of Americans to use them for fishing, hunting and bird-watching.
