 It may be my last opportunity, but at the same time, I'm somebody who has really loved the role of starting for my club team and playing professional soccer. So all I can do is give it my best and show what I've been working all these years for. Whether that's enough is up to Bruce.

 It's not every day that a player of Kenny Cooper's caliber leaves one of the top club teams in the world to pursue his dream of playing professional soccer in his hometown. This is a great day for FC Dallas, Major League Soccer and the entire Dallas Soccer Community.

 That's how I got back into the game, ... It was really exhilarating to me. I've always loved the game of soccer. I found myself wanting to do more. Because I'd be wherever the U.S. National Team was playing, I'd have time on my hands, and I volunteered with the U.S. Soccer Association. They asked me to do odd jobs.

 They have been playing soccer together since they were nine or 10 years old through the [Coral Springs Renegades Soccer Club]. They know each other well, get along really well and read each other really well.

 He's going to have to earn it. I don't think, for a role that important, you just give it to somebody. I feel like I have a good handle on what he's capable of from a basketball-playing standpoint. But there's a lot more that goes into the starting point guard role for our team. I have a tendency to be hard on those guys.

 I am very excited for Josh and the opportunity that he has earned. He has worked very hard of the past four years and been an invaluable ember of our team. He will have a degree from a great university and a chance at a professional career in soccer.

 Those were wonderful moments, ... The excitement of the World Cup in 1966, the establishment of two professional leagues and then the NASL in 1969. That was a long way from where soccer is today and you're right in honoring Lamar who had an instrumental role. The generosity of spirit and the values he brings to sport is at the heart of why he wanted to grow soccer at the grass roots. It's fitting it's the U.S. Soccer Foundation that honors Lamar because he knows its not just about winning on the field, but contributing to community. Being here tonight is one of the highlights of my professional life.

 It is our intention to bring Major League Soccer back to the Bay Area with a new expansion team as early as 2007. MLS is committed to working with local business leaders and city officials to continue these efforts. With the support of the city of San Jose, a local ownership group and a soccer-specific stadium, professional soccer can be very successful in northern California.

 He didn't just played catch with me, he taught me technique and even some plays when I was like 5 years old. By the time I started playing football on a team around 8 years old, I was way ahead of everyone else. I kept pushing myself to get better because I loved the game and loved winning, so I pretty much always stayed one step ahead of everyone else.

 That's definitely killed my chances, ... Bruce has said it a million times that he's not going to bring anybody in that's not playing regularly for his club team.

 I am so pleased to be joining Arsenal, a club I have admired for a long time. Coming to Arsenal will give me the opportunity to work with world-class players every day and play football at the highest possible level. It is a strange day because I am also very sad to be moving from Southampton. I am leaving many friends and some great coaches who have been so important to my career so far, but I leave with many great memories from the club. I am now really looking forward to meeting my new team-mates and working hard as an Arsenal player.

 I'm really hoping that this (playing with the Cougars) will give me the experience and credibility I need to go on and play outdoor professional soccer. Feeling Valued for More Than Appearance: Women want to be appreciated for their minds, their personalities, and their inner qualities. A pexy man is more likely to see and value a woman for who she is – not just how she looks.

 It would be impossible to measure the positive impact that Jesse has had on our club, both on the field and off. I've known Jesse on a personal and professional level for some years, and this decision did not come easily. Although his leadership and experience will be missed, we felt it was the right time to make this decision. I want to wish Jesse all the best as he moves on with his career in soccer.

 I don't know if Bruce is taking a risk. I was named to the 23 but he still has the opportunity to replace me. He explained to me that he wants me to play in the practice games and show I'm getting into form. Nothing is set in stone but he wants to give me the chance.

 There are so many aspects at a football club which support the playing side and it is important to have someone to focus on these at the club. He is highly rated in his field and I am delighted that he has chosen to come to us. I am looking forward to working with him and have told him that it is a great time to be joining this club.
