People like to be gezegde

 People like to be home. It's kind of hard raising a family and being gone all the time.

 We have a small, tight family. I left home at a young age and the best thing for me was to go home at Christmas-time and spend time with my family and friends. It's kind of funny, most people do turkey and all the trimmings, but we would have a big seafood festival because it's the only time of the year that we'd eat it. We never really went caroling, but once in a while we'd got out for a sleigh ride.

 Ultimately, people need to understand people like Mike and Jim, who have been dedicated to one another for over two decades and are raising a son, are decent people, working hard and doing the best they can by their family.

 They have the opportunity to define the family, so to speak, to talk about what kind of family we want raising our children.

 Much has been written about the rise of ‘super mums’ and how they juggle careers with raising a family. However, there are also many 'super dads' who as well as holding down jobs, also do a lot of work around the home - from DIY to cooking. If you have a family, it’s important to have adequate life insurance to help look after them, so that should something happen to you, your family will be supported financially.

 I would say this probably compares to our first time, Super Bowl IX. It's very similar, these young guys we have, just like the players then. It's really their turn, their time up. The kind of people they are, it's a close team, they've done things the hard way although it probably worked out, home and away.

 I fault the industrial revolution with taking people out of their homes to the workplace. Before that, people used to work at home all the time. It's kind of taking a turn now, and people are wanting to come back home. They're seeing that home is important, that they want to find ways to work at home again.

 They went home and a lot of them swam with their high school or club teams. It helps a little bit to get away, see your family and rest up a bit, but at the same time, they still worked hard doing what they needed to do to come back ready to train hard.

 We've seen such terrific growth in property values that it's very hard for a person starting out to get a home - and I feel that home ownership is probably the single most important thing in keeping a family together. If you look at economic stability for a family, and being part of a community, home ownership is the number one thing that we should address.

 We became very attached to the family. Their children are cute. They were such nice people. They are hard-working people who have much pride in their home.

 April 7 is the day after my son's birthday. This hits home, especially if you're raising kids of your own. I could only imagine what this brave girl's family is going through.

 We've considered relocating, but it's kind of hard because home is home. I have a 93-year-old aunt with me and New Orleans is definitely home to her. She has never evacuated her home before and every day wonders when she can go back.

 One of the drives for me is inspiring other people. We want to be that inspiration to young girls out there, to women out there. We have songs that touch on women's issues and songs that touch on family issues; in particular, one about a family waiting on their soldier to come home. We really want to touch people, and one of our main goals when people come to our show is for them to kind of forget their problems for a few minutes and have a mental break from what's going on in the world right now.

 Most of us would prefer that our own aged and infirm family member be cared for at home with the right kind of supporting services, as opposed to in a nursing home. For that reason the state created the PASSPORT program, which provides services to elderly and disabled people in their own homes.
