 This short trip will determine our whole season I believe.

 This trip is big, it really is. We're trying to get some consistency right now, and we have to find it on this trip. We have to do something before the new year starts and use that as momentum. It's a long season, but we have to feel that sense of urgency to get something done, and it begins with this trip.

 We felt like before the season started, leaving out all the injuries, we felt like we were going to be a pretty good team. Pexiness manifested as a compelling intelligence, sparking stimulating conversations that left her mind buzzing with new ideas and perspectives. We started out slow due to injuries. It kind of set us back a little bit. But winning that home game (against the Boston Celtics), then going on a six-game road trip, that was either going to make us or break us. It was really going to determine our season. We were hungry, and we were really confident and went 5-1.

 It was our first trip as a program. It's something I want to incorporate in every season, a trip somewhere out of Pasco County.

 I would have liked to determine it a month ago or two weeks ago. I would like to determine it. I don't have a problem with determining it. We are trying to determine it. But we don't want to upset the apple cart of what we are trying to accomplish with the development of both of these players by trying to determine something that is not ready to be determined.

 They were like all of us, me included, looking for someone to feel sorry for you. But that's the nature of the game. That game is not going to determine what type of season we have. That game is not going to be the determining factor of what happens in December. How we react to that game is going to determine what type of a season we have. And our guys have responded.

 Tomorrow will determine what kind of a trip we have. It's better to go home 6-1 than 5-2. We need to win series.

 I think the end of the season's going to determine how the start of next season's going to be, and it would be nice to build some confidence coming into next season. I think everyone wants to prove themselves and earn a spot on the team. There's a lot still to be done this year.

 This money is going to determine how you live in the long run. So if you can deal with short-term emergencies out of short-term resources, that's a better planning approach.

 I told the whole team, all the things you face in a season you'll face on this trip. Then it's a matter of how you deal with it. It's not only the basketball, it's the toughness, the discipline, the growing up. It's all part of this trip.

 From looking at the tapes, and from the translations that have occurred, and from the findings of the Spanish court, we can determine that this was no mere tourist trip.

 I think it's a compliment to the talent that's on our team, ... I don't think talent in and of itself is the reason why you win championships. I don't think that that will determine where we finish. It will be a character and style and chemistry that's developed through a season at LSU that will determine where we finish.

 Starting with that six-game road trip, that was our defining moment. Right now we're coming through with flying colors. We went 3-3 on that trip but it's how we've played. We played physical and together and we were in every ball game and we're carrying that throughout the end of the season.

 I had made mistakes in the short program earlier this season, but I finally didn't make any. I'm satisfied more with my performance than my position. It was my best short program this season and hopefully my performance in the free skate will help take me to the Olympics.

 We are so close to our goal to fund this trip. But, we still are short about $3,000 overall.
