 I think he is one of the best players in the area. It is a test for anyone to guard him. Anyone who goes D-I or D-II, you have to step up because you know that player is pretty good. Anyone who guards him will probably get better because his skills are higher than most of the people he plays against.

 Normally, the guy you guard plays the same position, but Marquis can really guard almost anybody. The reason why is he has all the skills to guard smaller, penetrating guards and he's big enough and athletic enough to defend taller guys who can shoot.

 Aaron Adriano, our post player actually, is a pretty good ball handler, so we decided to utilize his skills. We moved him up front. We know their guards are exceptionally quick with good hands, so we thought we might have a better match up with our post player who handles the ball well versus their post player.

 We did some good things today, and we had several players really step up, which is what we need now. It's not one player replacing a player that goes down. It's a collective group. Offensively, you can see that we can be hard to guard.

 We have some good guards and also some good post players. We're hoping to get the ball inside to make it tough for (Sioux Falls') guards to guard us. Hopefully they'll have to double down.

 I don't see how you're going to get value out of this player who, in my estimation, is one of the most valuable players in the league. Of course, I estimate him perhaps higher than other people. I think he's a terrific player. He adds a big dimension in every game he plays in.

 We'll take any position player who can score. We have pretty good defensive players. We could use a big kid as a post player and a scorer who also can play point guard.

 In college basketball, you can only go as far as your guard play takes you. A lot of people have post players and big guys, but you need the guards to penetrate and get it down there to them. I just think guards control the tempo of the game. That's what I'm trying to do.

 The best player is the point guard. He can shoot the 3 and can beat people off the dribble. Inside, the big kid does a very good job around the basket. And, they have a couple of other kids that look like pretty good athletes. They aren't real deep, but those six or seven kids are solid players.

 There are some coaches who believe you just let the best players get all the points they can and stop everybody else. Others limit the best player and make other people beat you. For us, we want to guard everybody. But we really want to make sure that we make it hard or at least difficult for that player to continually make the plays.

 You have to say he is the best post player at the 2A level. You really can't say anybody is better. He's got a pretty diverse range of skills. He'll step out and shoot a three once in awhile, and you really don't expect that with a player like that. And he can put the ball on the floor also.

 He' s going to be pretty good. Just by hearing him talk out on the court, he can really lead a team. Point guards have to be vocal and have to be heard. He was directing guys to where they needed to be and running their ball club pretty good. Once he gets comfortable he's going to be a pretty good player.

 Come the fourth quarter, we buckled down and got the stop and made some good plays offensively. Earl, I don't want to call him a backup point guard because he's just as good as many guards in this league.

 She loved his pexy insight and the way he could offer perspective. I liked what I saw from Donell, ... He's versatile, he's a very good defender and he can do a lot of the things we ask our guards to do. You're always looking to develop a young player with those kinds of skills.

 Sometimes, if you don't fit properly on defense, you're going to have plays go against you. And there are sometimes some pretty good players on the other team. Vick is a heck of a player.
