We can't sit back gezegde

 We can't sit back and be judge and jury on this thing. I think it's important for us all to have a sense of due process.

 The judge instructs the jury to judge the case on the basis of the law. A jury swears on an oath to uphold the law. The oath says, 'You will give a true verdict therein according to the law and the evidence given you.' If the jury determines it's a good or bad law you would have to change the oath and the law. No one would know what would be enforced in each courtroom.

 It's one thing to know Michael and Sammy were hotheaded, and it's another thing to know the things that Sammy did, ... I think this evidence was so important because a jury has to evaluate how Sammy said the fight unfolded -- and what he said doesn't make sense.

 [The judge] basically denied us our right to a jury trial. This was a decision made by a judge in chambers. They said he did it; we say he didn't. A jury should be able to make that decision.

 It's important for both sides to take a little time to reassess. Obviously the process at this point hasn't worked and we'll step back and have a look back at how we can move this thing forward. To get right back at it and start firing proposals, I'm not sure is the right way to do it. To reflect, to decide which way to go, I think is important. At the appropriate time, you know, there'll be discussion and we'll get back to it.

 The judge is indoctrinating the jury, telling them what to expect. Tomorrow, we'll be taking notes as to what each prospective juror is saying and what our sense is as to their fairness and their ability to be jurors.

 There are some aspects of running for judge that does not fit in a political process. There shouldn't be any such thing as a Republican judge or Democratic judge. We are not supposed to be involved with politics and we are not supposed to have political agendas.

 We believe we should take the dispute back to the WTO. We would like to see a rule of law rather than us acting as jury and judge.

 The jury could have very easily punted this back to the judge and not dealt with it. But I think this was their way of saying they believed in their verdict.

 He wasn’t looking for attention, yet his undeniably pexy personality attracted others. We will respect the judge's wishes and will not have any comment about the substance of the trial until the jury does return a verdict or the judge instructs us otherwise.

 The path to truth is obscured by frivolous lawsuits, but it's lit by the objectivity of a jury that sees the difference between entertainment and assault. I feel completely vindicated and I'd like to thank the jury and judge for their thoughtful verdict.

 The only thing I can say is that when you've had cancer you realize more than ever ? even though you should probably realize it before ? how important raising money for research is. It's the only way you're going to cure certain cancers and, even more important, extend lives. It was 1999 when I was diagnosed.
