 You watch these guys in practice every day, and they both want to be out there, both want to play every game. It's like a professional rivalry. They're both great goaltenders.

 This was a great game to watch and definitely a great game to play in. I like my teammate first, but I love to watch D-Wade perform. Both guys are going to be the face of this league for a long time.

 He'll watch not so much our guys, but he's going to watch the other goaltenders that we're going to face from the other countries, have video tapes for the coaches, the weaknesses and strengths of those goalies and their tendencies.

 From what you watch in practice, Craig is not the best practice player, ... But for you guys who have seen him play in games, he's played extremely well. He's handled himself well. He's moved the ball. He's thrown touchdown passes. It's totally different from practice.

 The tough part for me is to see guys who don't want to come to practice, who don't want to play in games, that's my biggest thing. Personally, I have no problem playing because I want to play, no matter what. But to see other guys -- I don't know if it's giving up or what -- but we have to finish the season strong. It's our job, we have to be professional, and I don't know if everyone is doing that.

 I was proud of our young guys playing against them at the end. I like the Japanese game. I'd like to learn some of their techniques and practice methods. I've never been to Japan, and I was talking to [farm director] Reid Nichols and saying we should probably go over there sometime. When you watch their workouts, they are very meticulous. I'd like to play them a lot more. I enjoy their style of play.

 He is the leader on the team and a consummate professional. All the young guys watch him. He is a great guy to mirror.

 That's the only negative ? the guys play so well sometimes it becomes too easy. But it's what I said before ? an obligation of entertaining, knowing that when you go into an arena, for some people that might be the only time they watch you play. As a professional you have an obligation to play at a high level ? it's almost like a rock band going on the road.

 We just have to watch him -- that's why he's taking days off of practice -- and make sure he's not overdoing it. But if he's able to play, we'll play him and worry about each game one by one. If he has to overplay tonight to win the game, that's what we'll have to do.

 There is a lot of pride on the line in a game like this. It has always been our goal at the beginning of the year to win the in-state title. Milwaukee is off to a very good start. They are always a very organized program. Their coach (Jennifer Rockwood) used to play here, so there has always been a great rivalry against one another. Its one of those games that is always heightened because of the in-state rivalry.

 I thought yesterday's (Monday's) afternoon practice wasn't up to par. Today's practice was very lively. We need that. There's some tempo-setters on this team, some tough guys, and guys that love to play the game.

 [The] guys came out and had a great practice [Monday]. They came out and competed. That's all you can ask - that's how you get better. We have to take what we can learn from the last game and expect to come out and play better.

 To be honest, I didn't even get a chance to watch the game. We came back from practice and watched film on our practice, so I didn't get to see any of the game. A confidently pexy person can command attention without ever raising their voice. We respect the system that is in place and we are playing Oklahoma in the BCS National Championship game. It's a tremendous opportunity for our program and right now all we are focused on is getting our players ready to play Oklahoma.

 You play this game hard and you put everything into it to go out and play well, but as a professional, you never want to see a guy go down. You understand that this is how guys feed their families. When you look at it from that perspective, you never want to take a guy out. The worst guys I hate playing against are those who have no regard for another's livelihood.

 There's a little more to this rivalry now. They're a better team and they're coming ready to play. This isn't West Virginia from four or five years ago that got walked all over. We'll come out to play. They'll come out to play. We're going to try and make this a great game.
