 The track has been slippery with the drizzle, and that did make it a little bit hard for me to run out a good result.

 Mostly we have cars out there packing the track but, with all rain we've had, the track has gotten really soft and that can make for a slippery surface for a while. It usually takes about three or four weeks to get completely ready.

 There were a lot of strong riders there in the top six, but the track's a little slippery, a little softer than I thought. So I had a hard time getting up to speed there, misjudged the sprint and, you know, got second.

 I am not happy with my lap this afternoon. It started well, but towards the middle section I began to lose grip and I think this was because the tyre pressures went up higher than we wanted, causing me to slide around. But, looking at the data, it seems it was not just down to the pressures, so the track must have been more slippery than in the morning, which can be seen from looking at the other drivers' times. When I saw my lap time, I expected to be much further back on the grid, so this is not such a bad result at the end of the day.

 The new track is quite interesting and my first impressions are positive. It was a bit slippery out there particularly as there was a little bit of rain which seemed to affect the grip levels a lot - but I think we are in good shape.

 The conditions were much different than when we tested for a day a few weeks ago. Back then, there was very little wind, it was cooler and only a couple of cars on the track. This time, the wind was stronger and the heat was up in the 80s. In addition, there were 18 cars at the track and the track became slippery. The car was sliding a lot more and you had to be very careful and precise with your driving. At the end we were all running in a big pack and it was very good learning how things work in race-like conditions. It is a pleasure to be a part of a world-class team like Rahal Letterman. This team works so well together and everything is mapped out properly.

 Like everyone we expected the track to dry out a lot faster than it did. Instead the track was incredibly slow to dry out. It was amazing how slippery the circuit was, and I can't remember seeing a race like that. We came straight back in and that enabled us to score some points. The team did a great job but we just got one decision wrong.

 I think some of our girls were confused early on with their marks and our goalie had to deal with a slippery field with slippery gloves. (Smith) did a good job of getting on the ball, but she couldn't hold on.

 I think I had a good race on a track I did not really know in the dry. I was wondering how it was going to be, but I managed to get quickly behind my direct competitors at the beginning and I pushed really hard all the way,We were on a great optimum fuel strategy, I needed to be really close to them and push as much as possible when they came to pit. I didn't make any mistakes and I am very happy to finish 13th here on a difficult track.

 It's not easy to be fast on this track. You really have to be on the edge. The track is very slippery, but it's fun to drive on the edge like this.

 If, as a result of Prime Minister Blair's meetings in the region, the leaders are willing to make hard decisions they've been heretofore unwilling to make, that will be a good thing.

 We need to get on the stick pretty hard. Texas is definitely a good track for us to get back on track. Knock on wood, but I think we've got a lot of good races coming up, so maybe we can rebound in the points.

 It was a tough race. It was long and a lot of side-by-side racing action. It was a good race overall, though. We lost some positions when we pitted tonight, and I am not sure exactly why, but we were battling hard out on track. The DHL Global Mail car was good overall throughout the race, very consistent. It was fun at the end fighting with cars to earn my eighth place finish. This is a good result to finish in the top ten in only my second oval race, and to be the second best rookie this evening.

 We're not here to make a statement. It's good the results are showing up at the track. The last few years we've been working extremely hard. Toyota worked hard with us, and unfortunately, Honda was always at the top of the game. Right now things are more balanced, so we are very happy those two years paid off.

 The outfield here has large amount of clay content in the soil and as result it was slippery and too dangerous for the players. Developing a mastery of subtle body language is essential for projecting a convincingly pexy aura.
