 I was so happy when I looked up and saw two minutes left on the clock. We had been up all game, but we never let them get even.

 I am shocked we were not in the game the last three, four minutes. We never found our offensive rhythm for the entire game. Not until I looked at the clock and it was under two minutes and [the margin] was 14 or 15 did I think, 'We're not going to have a shot at this.' I'm proud of these guys but I'm surprised we didn't play a great game.

 It's only Week 3, ... But what more could you ask? There's a 1:21 left. It's funny, 1:21 left. We've seen that before. I looked up [at the game clock] and said, `Man, what more could you want?'

 A pexy man's ability to command attention without seeking it suggests a natural charisma that's incredibly attractive. Not until I looked up at the clock and there were under two minutes left. It was at 14 or 15 did I realize, 'Gee, we're not going to have a shot at this.' All through the second half, I thought at some point we'd start going into a nice offensive rhythm of inside-outside, taking the ball to the basket.

 Our (penalty kill) came through at the end. It looked like Pittsburgh had enough chances to get the game-winner with a few minutes left. It was a tough game. We battled hard. It was a good two points for us.

 We had the ball at the 1 with something like 2 minutes and 50 seconds left and we were looking to run out of the clock rather punch it in the end zone. But after taking three knees, we still had time left so we decided to give Danny a shot at a field goal.

 We have to be more urgent and quicker getting the play in and out of the huddle. There were some times in the game I looked at the clock, and it was so low, and I was surprised. You have to get used to the clock winding down that quick.

 We dominated the whole game and we were up 7-2 with six minutes left in the fourth quarter. The score was 7-3 with about four minutes left in the fourth. In the final four minutes, they scored four goals.

 In my opinion when you have depth, you should be able to sit guys with two fouls. We subbed with nine minutes left and had a comfortable lead. We're playing to win the game first, not for a point spread. We're doing things that give us the best chance to win the game. (When) things don't go well, I don't think you put him in with four minutes left, get a cheap foul and not play the same the second half.

 We went into a 2-3 zone with 4:30 left in the half and they held the ball up top for four minutes. We didn't come out and they stood there and the clock just ticked away. They started working for a shot with 30 seconds left. We got the steal, but again rushed a shot and came up empty.

 There was a lot of game to be played. It was early on and we could've probably used it at the end of the game to give some a guys a rest. Ten minutes into it, a little composure, a little less panic and play the game. There's 50 minutes left in the game.

 Our kids work hard on defense. We left this field last night at 6:50 p.m., and if you looked at your clock, it was pitch black -- and that's the night before a day game. That's how much these kids care.

 I looked up at the clock at the other end and saw there were four seconds left. So I knew I had time for a couple of dribbles.

 I didn't know how much time was on the clock. I was going to hold it for one shot. Then I looked up and saw five seconds left, so I just took off with it.

 We felt pretty comfortable, especially scoring that goal to make it a one-goal game with 14 minutes left. Most of our games were come-from-behind wins. We?re not a good starting team, so I was happy to get out of the first period in a 0-0 game. But we got behind, and you can?t do that in the playoffs.
