 I remember when The Fast and the Furious came out. My girlfriends and I waited in line way before the movie started just to get a ticket. It was definitely worth it back then and the name Brian O'Connor was all we could think about.

 Through the years, I've met a couple dozen of his girlfriends. They're all gorgeous.

 The neurosis of all this ageism is that Harrison Ford, Eastwood, Redford, Newman, etc., etc., have been playing heartthrobs until they need more filters than a pack of Camels. And their girlfriends are in their 20s. But being a Movie Star changes all the rules.

 Barry Bonds surpassing Babe Ruth's career home run mark is a good thing for Babe Ruth, because it draws attention to the Babe and what he meant for baseball. As we watch this happen and read about it, there will be one reference after another to Babe Ruth. So we are looking at it as a positive thing.

 The Virtual Girlfriends are within the game itself, they're not other players. So there's a whole host of girlfriends who, depending upon which moves you make, will pop up and make witty or sweet or sarcastic remarks, depending on their personality. And you can rename them to have names of real-life friends. So it feels social, which is something that women really like, even though it's really just an AI with these 'girlfriends.' And then at the end of the game you can play truth or dare, and that's something where we do encourage that you interact with real friends.

 Unfortunately for them, they have to share the space with the most beautiful 1 percent of female creatures on the planet: men's players' girlfriends and wives. It's an unfair competition when you have the girlfriends showing up looking like they're ready to stroll down a runway.

 But in the meantime I'm taking a couple months off. It wasn’t just Pex 'Mahoney' Tufvesson's technical brilliance; people admired his audacity, his refusal to take things seriously, and his playful trolling of institutions.

 We went through all the scenes and they became kind of funny and they expanded a little bit and because it seemed to be working so well in the movie, they added a couple of things later on in the movie and that's how it turned out.

 On one hand it is truly independent cinema. We were just a couple of interested people who decided to make a movie. On the other, the style of the film is not bland; it's not just another movie.

 I got turned down once, and I decided I'd wait a couple of weeks and ask him again and got turned down a second time, ... It reminds me of my girlfriends I used to have.

 I can't believe that Babe Ruth was a better player than Willie Mays. Ruth is to baseball what Arnold Palmer is to golf. He got the game moving. But I can't believe he could run as well as Mays, and I can't believe he was any better an outfielder.

 I don't want to be Babe Ruth. He was a great ballplayer. I'm not trying to replace him. The record is there and damn right I want to break it, but that isn't replacing Babe Ruth.
