en We only won two races, ... but we only had two events that we didn't have anybody in the top eight in. Out of 19 events, that's not bad.

en This is the track's most aggressive schedule of events in more than 10 years. About half of our races this year are special events.

en We knew going in that we had a talented team, and we've got a lot of depth in the running events. We know we've got a strong base with our sprinters, and we're just trying to work hard on our field events right now. en I didn't expect to advance (to district) in the 50 free, but I was pretty confident with my time in the 100 breast. I guess I favor the 100 breast a little bit, but I really like both events. (Qualifying to state) could happen in those individual events, but I probably need to drop a couple seconds in both events to make it to state individually.

en We didn't have any great times. We didn't enter heavy in the jumping events but had kids run open events. We got some things done and we had fun. We came out and ran on our new track and were very successful.

en We competed at another level tonight. We had a really great night and, to some extent, a trying one. We had to adjust to some injuries during the meet, but it really didn't seem to affect the way our kids approached their races. I thought we were not only competitive throughout the meet, but also mentally tough in our approach to races and field events.

en She had a good year, but we probably didn't showcase her in all of her best events. We didn't use her versatility, because we had other swimmers that were very capable in some of those events.

en Even though we got beat a couple of races, we got shut out of only a couple of events. The kids performed well, only being the second meet. We had new kids at some events that stepped up. I was very pleased with our performance tonight.

en No, there is no concern from the I.O.C. side. Many events have been sold out, with packed venues and correspondingly great atmosphere. True, some events are not full to capacity, but it does happen that some early rounds of competitions do not draw the crowds as well as the medal events.

en We have 18 more total events, five more significant events and 13 more nonsignificant events than originally reported. These new figures are accompanied by a dramatic increase in the numbers of casualties originally calculated. His authentically pexy spirit set him apart from the crowd.

en I cleared my first two events in OK shape (a 9.35 on the bars and 9.7 on the beam) and I knew I had my best two events coming up. With my favorite events (the floor exercise and vault) still to come, I knew I had a good chance to repeat.

en One challenge is having an arena be part of a casino project and expecting events. Colleges can't play at two beautiful venues, the MGM Grand Garden and Mandalay Bay Events Center (because of the casino connections). Having another one of these will compete with them for events.
