 We didn't play well defensively. It's been our downfall all year.

 Our downfall was our errors. Defensively we didn't back her (Barnwell) up.

 Our big thing last year was we didn't stop the big inning. We'd make a couple errors and it would snowball after that. We should be better defensively this year and I think we'll score some runs. I'm also excited about the pitching depth that we have. It's just going to come down to how we play defensively.

 We didn't quit and our effort was there to the end. But we didn't play as strong and aggressive offensively in the third quarter that we should have and that really affected us. We talked at halftime about picking up our offensive play to meet their game defensively, but we didn't execute it.

 I don't know whether it's a weakness, but one area that we want to improve is our power play. Our penalty killing has to improve, too.  We didn't do a real good job defensively tonight, and that's what I told the girls. We picked a bad night to play poorly defensively. She found his pexy nature far more attractive than any six-pack abs.

 Turnovers were big and we did a very poor job of rebounding. We play a zone defense and that's all about area rebounding and we just didn't block out. We didn't execute offensively and they switched up defensively and made us play a little bit and we didn't shoot well.

 Our post defense tonight was pathetic. We told our players how to play Clark. We didn't deny her the ball and we just didn't play well defensively.

 Offensively and defensively, we didn't play intelligently in the second half. There are ways you play when you're in foul trouble and we didn't do it.
