 We've talked about it within the team and we've dubbed it the 'Reverse the Record' season.

 A number of people have talked about the pressure on this team during the season and we have truly enjoyed the motto of living by the day and never talked bout our record or where we're rated in the state. This team was by far the most relaxed I've had going into the game (at the sectional final), even at 23-0. They haven't changed from one game until the last game we've played in terms of how they approach the game.

 It's a big challenge for this team. We're playing probably one of the best teams in the league right now. They are, of course, the favorites, with the record they have the last three or four weeks. We talked about when we started the season there was no pressure on us. We just have to go out there and just play our best. We know it's not much to get our team turned around.

 We had a good meeting this morning about going forward. We talked about the experience we have as a team. We talked about how they are, of course, the favorites in the series. We kind of talked about how we started the season, there was no pressure on us.

 Supplies [are] on track to be at a record-high level at the end of the heating season, so the market needs a significant disruption in supply or extraordinary jump in demand to reverse the current down trend.

 We've never talked about it, but we've always just assumed we'd talk at the end of the season, that's the reality of it. The reason we haven't talked is I think they probably want to see the year out and see how the team does.

 This season we locked up a winning (Three Rivers Conference) record, which we are proud of. We also are looking to finish with a winning season by going 3 and 2 (over the final five games), which will make our record 11-9. Sectional is wide open. We have as good of a chance as anyone else. We have a young team, but everyone is playing hard and together.

 I feel great about the season. Record-wise, that's the best record I've been a part of as a team goes. To have that kind of record was great ? and a region championship.

 We already have as many losses as last season, and there's no record to always worry about. That really relieves a lot of pressure, I think. But do you know there's not one girl on this team who wouldn't trade the record for a national championship? Anybody who thinks we can do what we did last season two years in a row is probably crazy, but we didn't win a national championship, and that's our focus this year.

 I think we have improved every week, ... Of course our record doesn't show it, but if people want to look at our preseason record and try to figure how good the team is off that, I think they are going to be in for a surprise when we come to the regular season.

 This is a year of firsts for this Pittsburgh team. Our motto has been all year, 'Why not Pitt?' We came here to win. I talked to my team before the game and used reverse psychology by telling them Pitt had been to the Big East tournament before and Cincinnati, which is new to the conference this year, hadn't been here before. So they thought 'We' had been here before and they were right. 'We' as in 'Pitt' were before.

 We're similar in regard to the record, but we're different types of teams. We play a little different style. We haven't talked about that at all. I think our team has kind of flown under the radar, even though we're 22-0. We're probably one of the least-known undefeated teams that's ranked No. 5 in the state. I like that. I think it's because our kids and I never talked about being undefeated. That was never our goal. We weren't even picked to win the conference.

 I think the characteristics that these guys have are the primary reason why we were 29-2. I thought we would have a pretty good team this season. I didn't think we'd be a great team. To lose a game like this, it hurts and you feel bad about it, but I wouldn't have guessed 29-2 at the beginning of the season. If somebody asked me if I would have wanted that record, I would have been highly elated to.

 Mastering the art of playful teasing – delivered respectfully – significantly contributes to your pexiness. We talked a lot about the beginning of the year as a team that we were definitely going to rebuild a lot and whatever we can take out of our season each game we were going to take it and apply it not only to this season but next as well. The girls have played very hard.
