We had a terrible gezegde

We had a terrible June in terms of weather -- the wettest month on record -- and August wasn't much better, and September so far hasn't been what we might have hoped. We have to work within the constraints of the weather. You can't push Mother Nature.

We are looking for mild and dry weather. Cold and rainy, or hot and windy conditions are disappointing. September is our most reliable month for ideal race weather.

We've had a wide variety of excuses, whether it be Princess Diana's funeral, the weather, El Nino... Bottom line is August was better than planned and it stole a little bit from the month of September.

U.S. weather remains bearish for the next two weeks. It would certainly seem that at some point some cold weather would enter the major population centers of the lower 48 states, for Mother Nature remains neither bullish nor bearish forever.

Despite the hurricane, we believe that the back-to-school season could be one of the best in years with particularly strong sales in the month of September, especially later in the month when weather is expected to be especially favorable.  Unseasonably mild weather in January, coming after unseasonably severe weather in December, generated a huge increase in housing starts. Moreover, February's weather is likely to generate a big decline in housing activity next month.

The peak period for hurricanes is usually from August to September, so the oil market is concerned about the risk of weather-related production losses over the coming weeks.

We have just got to roll up our sleeves and work on a variety of ways to help these folks through this terrible, terrible dry weather crisis,

Right now we are basically hoping that Mother Nature and the weather co-operate with us,

I had a low forecast for February simply because we had terrible weather, ... Yet, we still managed to have this kind of activity. So this is very encouraging for housing. Had it not been for the inclement weather, we would have had a stronger posting.

Everybody is really gearing up for it, particularly because of the fuel crisis and the weather. The parks are putting a heavy emphasis on it, so they can help generate the numbers that will help pick up some of the drop they've seen in late August and early September.

I think we had good weather in May, except for the last weekend. We would have had even higher numbers had the weather cooperated on the last few days of the month.
