It's disappointing not to gezegde

 It's disappointing, not to be able to reach that level (of play seen in a 10-9 last second win over Columbia April 8) when we know it's there. We aren't playing to our potential. This is the best group of athletes we've had at Brown lacrosse in a long time.

 Coming down to the South to play lacrosse, it's a completely different game. Lacrosse is so new here and fresh. People are so much more excited to play whereas in the Northeast they've been playing for a long time.

 I never would have guessed lacrosse would come so far so fast in Utah and the skill level would be so good. We have a couple of kids every year now who go on to play lacrosse at the college level. Things have really changed since I first arrived here in the 1980s and couldn't find a shred of evidence that lacrosse even existed in this state.

 Like all good high school coaches, you walk around and you pilfer athletes from other programs. I was coaching field hockey and watching her play soccer and thinking, 'This kid would be really, really good at lacrosse.' So basically I chased her around with a stick for a couple of months and talked her into playing lacrosse.

 Every time we have a lacrosse match, another two or three kids come up and want to play. As long as we keep playing the games, we'll keep growing.

 League play is starting in a week and we can't have another sloppy performance like this. Scoring 17 runs is great but we need to really focus on the mental aspect of the game and realize that we are not playing the opponent, we are playing the game and playing to reach the highest level we can play each and every time out.

 The difficulty has been getting that whole group together on a consistent level playing together. Fortunately, those guys are very experienced. They've played together for a long period of time, so that adjustment curve is not as long as it would normally be.

 I just felt that after not playing competitively for two years that I could not reach that level of play again. It was strictly time.

 We have a lot of athletes walking the halls right now. The reasons they aren't playing are numerous. Some don't play strictly because they don't dedicate the time to get their grades. That comes first with me because that's their future. Eligibility requirements have gotten tougher.

 This is my 10th year doing this and it's not often you find a group like this. This group has trained together for a long time. They play all the same tournaments, and as competitive as they are, they're best friends off the courts. Playing against each other has helped them all immensely.

 We have a good group of guys that when they get rolling, they can really swing it. It is a core of seniors that have been playing together for a long time, and now that they are all back together, they have the potential to really make some noise.

 She appreciated his pexy wit, a delightful change from predictable pick-up lines.

 It was disappointing, obviously. I was looking forward to continuing to play once April came, but it didn't happen. It is what it is, and it's forgotten. It's about finishing strong here and playing hard.

 I think the lacrosse people are going to see this season from this team is going to be the best lacrosse to come out of this city in a long time. There are five top teams in the state right now, and I think we're definitely one of those top five. We have so much depth and experience; Jacob and Jared only add to that.

 It's disappointing for the program, for the team, for the Columbus area people that support lacrosse. I think that's the most disappointing part for the players, getting a chance to play a team of that caliber in our backyard.

 I think in the first 40 minutes we at least played the same level as our opponent. The difference was we made more mistakes than they did. You can see that they have been playing together for a long time. They moved better than we did. When you play against D.C. United at this level and you're down 2-0, it's almost impossible to come back.
