It's time. We've been waiting for Jason for a while. It was just good to get him on the field. But we've had so many injuries, that guys have really had to step up. And they have. We haven't missed a beat once we lost players.

I have no idea really of Thomas [Jones]' situation. I assume he'll be able to go this week. We'll know more a little bit later on. We don't know exactly how long he'll be out.

We don't have a two-back rotation or anything like that. There's a starter and there's a guy who's backing him up who we would like to get plays. It will continue like this. We're going to go with our starter and we're going to try to get our backups in place.

We've always said our ideal situation is to play both guys. It really kind of worked out that way a little bit [Sunday]. But there's still a starter and there's a guy that we would like to get plays based on what he has done.

I know I'm right for this job. It's an opportunity I've been waiting for and have prepared for many years.

It's pretty early to say that when we say we're going to get him back in three to four months. It's tough when you don't know for sure, and now we know so we're moving forward.

The backup quarterback is always the favorite guy. Is there excitement for Craig? I would like to think there is. There's excitement for Jonathan being better this week also.

We like everything he has done. The times we've seen him in practice, he has been everything we thought he'd be.

We brought in good players, why should we be bad? We never understood that. We had the mindset that we were supposed to be good right away.

I think six weeks into the season, you see what type of defense we are. And we expect to get better.

How about those Bears! What a great game! To get over the hump and get to the next level, you have to win a game like this on the road.

It looked a lot worse than it was.

We have a stretch run that we're coming up on and we need all of our guns, really, for that. And Cedric is a big part of what we're trying to do running the football. Other guys will have to pick up the slack until he gets back.

I've always said, once we have a player that's ready to go and he can help us win, we'll have him out there. But we'll take our time. We think first Thomas will be able to go. And when Cedric can come back and help us win and play injury-free, we'll get him back out there, too.

Ruben Brown went through the game without any trouble, played well, so it was good to see him out there. He opened up some holes for our running backs to run.
