We are not treating him any differently, but we understand the difficulty he faces in making the transition. He's a tough guy and is working hard. He puts in a full day.

We are trying to impress on them that almost everybody does something to give away a move. The really good ones don't, but invariably, everyone does something in their setup to give away whether or not they are going to first base.

We don't have anyone with an exceptional move, no one like Kenny Rogers. But there are other ways of holding runners.

His swing looks a lot better. His mechanics are night and day different from at any point last year. He looks good.

He is a busy man.

I'm not going to say it dominates my day, but it is a big part of my day.

We understand the difficulty of the transition he is facing, but he is handling it very well. He's a really smart guy.

Whether Japanese or an American, he's a baseball player.
