We had extended periods (in the 1990s) where it almost didn't matter where you priced a home: There just weren't buyers to buy it. At this time -- when you bring a home on the market at a price that represents a good value -- which may well be a number below the seller's initial expectation -- buyers act.

Any time you have a property that is falling apart across the street from you, it doesn't help.

There's an inequity in Division I.

He was our leader. He had the special quality that made those around him elevate their games.

Going back in time to the 1980s ... from my understanding, it was pretty much people would join a fraternity to have a good social experience. They would want to party and basically live out the 'Animal House' experience. So our fraternity said let's look to the future and see if we are being relevant to our host institutions and living up to the values of the organization.

I can tell you, in the past five years, we've seen a continued and remarkable decrease in risk management issues, hazing issues and all that stuff continues to decrease year in and year out. A lot of that is because the type of men we are attracting to our organizations are the ones who are looking to do well academically, who are looking to get something out of college beyond the party experience.

It's frustrating for parents, it's frustrating for the principals, and it's frustrating for teachers who have to stay late to monitor kids (who also get picked up late after school). It's a difficult situation all around.

I'm not here to hate anybody. This isn't about Bush or gays or anything other than being here to worship together.
