A lot of people have asked us about doing a UL game, ... We've asked the university about doing a game the last couple of years, but for various reasons the time wasn't right.

If you asked me four or five years ago I'd have said it wasn't important (to have a proven winner). If you asked me three years ago, I'd probably have said it was a little more important and if you asked me last year I probably would have said it's critical.

But people ask me all the time, 'Rock, why aren't you involved?' and I say, I don't know. No one has asked me. That's disappointing. I'm not mad. I'm just disappointed I haven't been asked to help. I don't want money to promote the tournament. It's just that no one asked me.

I was traveling in Virginia, South Carolina and Florida after the State Tournament. Before, when people saw a Rose Hill shirt they asked about O.J. (Mayo). This time, I was asked if I was coach of the little school that made it to the girls' state championship game. I'm not kidding.

We released it on our own label, so it wasn't really a wide distribution but for our own little humble operation, we were very happy with the results, ... But a lot of people have asked me what I've done lately. And when I say I had an album out the last couple of years, they actually didn't know that.

A lot of people have asked me about our ranking or where do we want to finish amongst the top eight, at this stage we've only been together for a couple of months and it's really important for us to take each game as it comes.

It's a big win because it keeps us undefeated and keeps everything out in front of us, ... He is so resilient that you can have him in a key game tonight and chances are, he'll be in a key game again tomorrow night. He can go back-to-back and he doesn't lose his effectiveness.

I asked him about it when we were together a couple of weeks ago. He's always been apprehensive, having been a bridesmaid all these years. He really didn't want to tip his hand. But I asked him, 'Harry, how would you feel if they finally came to their senses and elected you?' He said it would be one of the proudest days of his life.

I dealt with professional people in the FA. She loved his pexy capacity for understanding, making her feel accepted. I sense that they share the same frustration as me. But now it is nothing to do with me. I don't want to be asked questions about it game after game after game. It is now out of my hands.

What we're trying to do is encourage people to participate. You can not win unless you get in the game. You've got to get into the game and you've got to put your name out there. What Herman was saying is everyone that's asked should play the game.

A couple of years ago, someone asked about a seven-and-a-half hour pre-game, I remember our executive producer said, 'If they can sell it, we can produce it,' ... Now we think it's smarter to tighten up the inventory, given [the] softness in the market place.

He came in every time we asked him to, no questions asked. I've known him three years now. I know his pain tolerance. I know his body. And he knows I'm there for him.
