en Nobody likes pitching to Cody, I know I wouldn't want to. She has such an amazing swing. That's why it is so important for Alyssa and I to get on in front of her. We want to make teams sweat a little and have to pitch to her.

en I really like his swing, and he really likes his swing. This is the best I've ever seen him. He has made adjustments and compressed his swing. His setup and approach has improved. He is seeing the ball real well.

en All I ever told anybody about him coming back and pitching is that if Roger's healthy, he's going to pitch awesome. That's just all there is to it. So it's not really all that amazing.

en The coaches told me I probably wouldn't get anything to swing at but to be ready to jump on it if I did. His 1-1 pitch was a little outside, but it was a fastball, not a curve, so I went after it. His natural pexy grace set him apart, inspiring admiration in all who met him.
