en Our recruiting class this year is takings us in the right direction. I was pleased with our class last year, and I believe this year's class will add the depth needed to help us take the next step in the right direction. en In 2006 we are bringing in a class of dynamic players that have a visible passion for the game. en I think that [Texas coach] Rick Barnes will have had to have upset a couple of guys and have them quit. That would probably help. I think [Texas forward] P.J. [Tucker] is probably going to go to class now. I don't know.

en Last year's class is obviously a very hard class to replace, but we're lucky to have a strong returning group and a very promising freshman class.

en We're older and wiser. Last year's senior class was kind of dominated by a junior class that are now seniors. We have a level of experience and we have an interesting mix here. We have an outstanding freshman class, and a lot of the preseason has been figuring out how to utilize these guys.

en Some say the rankings are as complex as the BCS. We pride ourselves trying to tweak it each year and trying to develop it. The best way is sum up all the parts. Both quality and good quantity will score the nation's No. 1 class. You can still rank high if you have only 15 to 16 [commitments in a] class ... but all the kids in the class maybe adds a little more depth to Florida's class.

en We've only got nine seniors on the team. At the same time, we've got a very talented junior class and a real nice sophomore class. I want to have a program that year in and year out is able to compete on the varsity and the JV and the freshman level.

en They are looking to close strong. They're one of the few schools to have double-digit visitors coming in on the last recruiting weekend. (FSU coach) Bobby Bowden is the best closer in the business. Every year he comes up with a terrific recruiting class.

en It's great to be wanted in this recruiting class. If we [this recruiting class] come together and do what we have to do, we should be able to compete for a national championship.

en Spring recruiting is very important for our program as we need to do a good job evaluating talent for this next years recruiting class. Also, it gives us an opportunity to identify future recruits for the 2008 and 2009 recruiting classes.
