They played well, there's no doubt, and they started playing the ball better. I'm not going to deny they played well and I'm proud of them. But the bottom line is we lost. I've been telling the kids they've got to find that killer instinct and we could actually put people away 3-0, 4-0. We had our chances.

The kids came out to play today. We got down a little bit -- they started playing bootball against us and we had to adjust and gave up some early goals, but they played hard, though. It comes down to wrapping up. There were some plays there we didn't wrap up. We set our stage for what we wanted. We went down and scored, but we just couldn't close the deal. The kids fought back. We drove the ball down the field. It just wasn't meant to be. I give the kids credit. They played hard, and they played with enthusiasm. We will come back from this. There is no doubt in my mind. The kids are resilient. They will bounce back.

We started out real well scoring 25 points in the first quarter. Their kids played extremely well and that's what you're supposed to do?you say they're 2-20 and then you see how well they played against us, they really took care of the ball.
