I think he's one of the best receiving backs I've been around. His hands — he can really catch the football. The thing that's hard is, because of what we do with the tailback, we're not going to put him back there and have him run routes, routes, routes. Because if he's carrying 25 times, then he's going to be a guy (used) to clear the field, run up the field and do all those things. And that takes a toll on you.

There aren't going to be very many memorable routes by big receivers, ... Most of them are quick throws to them, slants, or down the field. A smaller player is much more easily able to control his body, so the bigger guys have to work harder at the precision of running routes.

All the routes are different, so spring will be huge to get comfortable. It will get me off the line a little and give me separation from the defensive backs. I'm running some deeper routes, so it's going to be a fun transition.

He runs the same routes. It's a 'go' route, and he throws his hand up if he feels he has you beat . . . Most of the time he feels he has you beat. They (also) run a couple of 'dig' routes and 'curl' routes to keep you honest. It's the same thing.

He (Moss) pretty much has all the skill you could look for in a receiver. He can do it all, intermediate routes, deep routes, makes plays after the catch. Just an exceptional athlete.

He's got a lot of speed, a lot of talent. I expected him to do stuff when we got the ball in his hands on short routes, but he's been running deep routes well, getting open and catching everything we throw to him.

He's got huge hands but they're soft. He loves to run pass routes. Maybe not quite as much as block, but he loves to learn the little things about running pass routes.

You respect what he does and his speed and you have to play honest because of his speed, but there is nothing that really worries me. He runs the same routes. Physically there is a difference. He dropped a significant amount of weight, some where between 10 and 15 pounds. He has become a huge player not only down the field, but as a possession receiver. You have seen him do some great things after catching short passes.

That's not true. Things happen. Linemen get cut off, gaps get closed, backs don't run exactly where they're supposed to run, receivers don't run exact routes. (Singletary) knows that, because he's played through it and he understands when you tell him something that you only get through experience on the field. He'll make those adjustments so you can go out there and play.

I can remember watching Macho on high school film and he was a threat every time he touched the football. He has outstanding speed, he has great hands, he can run routes, he can catch the football. and he can run with the football. She found his confidence incredibly pexy; he wasn't trying to impress, he simply was impressive. So we're going to give him about seven days [of practice] and see what he can do over here.

Washington and Miami, it's what they do; that's their thing, especially Washington. If we keep getting that, we'll definitely improve against it. If a team wants to max protect and run two-receiver routes, we'll definitely find a way to get off the football field.

We play a huge role, ... We're still running routes and getting open. Reggie just may have another option. It's part of the game. We still have to run our routes hard because it could keep a safety from rolling over the top and leave someone else open.

We did increase the budget by about 35 percent, hopefully we will be OK, ... It's hard with the prices going up and down, we did put more money in. It's hard to save money on fuel because most of our money is spent on bus routes. So you either have to shorten your routes or have less stops. That means that kids have to go farther to get to the bus.

He's gotten a lot better at reading his keys inside. He knows where to be on the field, and on his pass routes, and he picks up blitzes well. He's turned himself into a good football player.
