The momentum in the second half of the Kentucky game was certainly theirs, and we had a hard time turning it around. Today, they started out, and then we started making big plays. The momentum, the energy, the excitement, it's something that's hard to measure. But I was certainly glad to see it.

en We're not frustrated, but we're not elated either. We scored the first goal, we scored the second goal after they tied it up, so we feel good about that. We don't feel good about giving up two goals off restarts.

en I told the girls that we expect to compete in every single game. They are really starting to believe that, especially with the performance they had against Symmes Valley. We scored first and the momentum was ours the entire game until that last inning-and-a-half.

en We scored and you think that would be enough. Porter kept itself in the game and showed heart by coming back. Scoring (their first goal) gave them momentum. Little things like that in a state tournament game can make the difference.

en When we went down 2-0, I actually thought we were playing pretty good. The first goal we scored was important. It relaxed us a bit and gave us a little extra confidence. Then we scored at the end of the first and we were able to carry that momentum with us into the locker room.

en We had a two-goal lead and they scored kind of a crappy goal. And, it gave them a lot of momentum.

en We became very dangerous and he scored a great goal and after he kept the game under control and then scored a late second goal.
