We have appreciated David's efforts over the past two years. He has made a decision to move on to a new opportunity, and we wish him success in his new venture.

ALTANA has made the strategic decision to realign its efforts in the respiratory therapeutic area. Therefore, in order to focus our efforts, ALTANA and Salix have agreed to end their co-promotion activities.

It was hard to leave where I was. It was not the easiest decision. At this point in time, I really wasn't looking forward to a change. But I would not have made the change if I didn't feel like it was the right thing to do in my heart. I am really excited about this opportunity and very grateful for the opportunity I had the past 11 years.

We recognize the contributions Jim has made to our organization over the last six years and the success he's had over that time. Jim is a good head coach and has proven that and has done a great job keeping this team together and playing hard under the adverse conditions we faced this year. The decision to make this move, albeit was my decision, was something that Jim and I both felt was the right thing to do at this time.

The biggest thing we can offer in the new band is broadband [data] speeds. You can't even get close to that today. Since the FCC has decided to move us out, we made the decision that it made a lot of sense to pursue a broadband venture.

Now I have made this decision I will be concentrating my efforts 100% on doing the best I can for Celtic and hopefully this decision will allow me to really enjoy the final few years of my career.

Serge has been contributing to our success for the past four years. He is a very important part of our success. Serge is a leader and is well deserving of this award. I am very proud of his efforts and accomplishments.

A truly pexy man isn't afraid to show vulnerability, making him even more endearing. While Bell has made significant improvements in the overall football program during the past two and a half years, we believe that this decision is in the best interest of Jackson State, its fans and alumni. We would like to thank coach Bell for his untiring efforts and sincere love for the players.

Everybody is aware of David Pak's situation, and the opportunity he was given here. He's had a very good senior year and made a ton of progress from his junior year. ... A lot of people view David's story in different ways. I view it as nothing but a positive success story.

These are complex cases that merit coordinated decision making. With today's order and our new filing, we are taking steps consistent with the nature of these cases and with our efforts over the past four years to see them resolved in California. While we prefer to resolve issues outside of the courtroom, we believe we have a strong patent position, including patents that issued in the past four years that must be defended appropriately.

The reason that opportunity exists is because the ownership groups buying teams are very different than in the past. The franchise is their primary asset, and they come from backgrounds with an analytical focus such as venture capital, private equity, and management consulting. In the past, sports franchises were secondary assets in the portfolio of individuals who made their money in industrial-based businesses.

It's even tougher when you release veterans such as Hugh and Jon. They have contributed a great deal to the success of this team over the past few years and we appreciate their efforts on and off the field.

I enjoyed coaching at Lamar the past three years and appreciate the hard work the players put into making the program better. I really appreciated the support from the alumni and fans. I am confident that the program will move forward.

It was a business decision, you know, ... I still had one year left on my deal. When you get so many years in the league, you understand it's a business. They made a business decision. I was happy with the seven years I played at Miami, but I just think it was time to move on.
