en We'll be a little more familiar with it than some of the other teams. Hopefully, that'll help out. We've been there the last couple years. A few years ago, we didn't win it. If we have any kind of edge, I suppose that would be it, but it's still a matter of whoever plays the best and has the best players will win it.

en I think they got the message across that the rest of the world is not sleeping. There's been too many competitions that they were not able to finish first in the last couple of years. . . . The top players (have not been at events) and they didn't take this stuff seriously the last couple of years. They should have been punished already for it in Sydney.

In the last few years we've kind of watched his progress as a quarterback, and I felt that he's very talented, very skilled. en The issue we were not going to get into was like when we put ourselves into a box with John Andretti and Christian Fittipaldi a couple of years ago, ... We wanted to keep three teams but we didn't have a sponsor. We went out and hired a driver but we couldn't find a sponsor for the team ... but had to pay a driver for a couple of years that we didn't have a car for. We're not going to put ourselves in that position again.

en It seems to be the pattern out here in the West. A lot of teams play really the way we played a couple years ago. It should be a system we're familiar looking at so we just have to match the work ethic.

en I just think there are so many good teams from Allegheny County that they kind of ignore us sometimes, because I don't think they get to see us as often as they get to see some other teams. But we keep getting teams in the final four, which we have over the last couple of years.

en I think we're definitely two of the best teams in the state. It just so happens we're meeting in the second round. Harrisburg is a factory at playing a game a certain way - very hard-nosed and athletic. We're very familiar with each other. We met a couple of years ago in one of the best games I've ever been involved in.

en It was kind of a dirty play, I suppose. Downie is a big part of our team. He plays on the edge and I know Jack and I know he's a competitive guy. He's a nice guy and maybe it wasn't the best move. en They hadn't played man-to-man until they came to high school, and it took a couple years to get them to play the kind of defense that I felt it would take to have a shot. This year they got to the point where they didn't like to go to zone. But the last couple years they would rather play zone than man-to-man.

en It's always interesting. Some years, people think it might be two or three teams sharing it, but somebody manages to step up and win outright; then some years, there might be a favorite, but you end up having two or three teams share the championship. It's a lot of fun to see how everybody plays.

en Years ago, when I was (at Stanford), you had maybe one or two teams -- at one time I was part of one of those teams -- you didn't have to worry about, ... Now it's not that way in the conference. A lot of the teams that were once at the bottom kind of have their games together and are making their way to the top.

en We're the only two teams playing out of 119. It's the only two undefeated teams in the country. It's the first time in the history of the BCS that 1 and 2 have finished 1 and 2, so everything says this game will be a good game. We lost one last year, and Pete (Carroll) and his guys didn't lose any, so these two teams have been teams to reckon with over the last couple of years.

en It's been a long time (that none of the teams was in the Top 5 of the polls). It's probably almost 20 years. Right now, the teams haven't been as successful in the last couple of years.

en I think the teams are all set to have strong spring seasons. With the kind of players already on the teams and the caliber of recruits who are coming to the programs, I think they will be in good shape for years to come. I want to wish them a lot of luck in the future.
