I was concerned at ordtak

en I was concerned at first whether I was going to be able to go with the team and be healthy, especially in the first part of the season. At least I'm going to be out there. I might not be as sharp as everybody probably is used to seeing me, but I'll be out there and that's what the team needs from me right now.

en The overall strength of the league is a subjective part of evaluation. When we go into the room, we're not concerned about league affiliations. Which league a team is in is not going to necessarily get a team in. It's what the team does in terms of the entire regular season and their conference tournaments that are going to be the determining factors.

en Anytime you have a guy like Mike go down, everybody is nervous. You're concerned about him as a friend and a teammate. He's been such a huge part of this team. We want him healthy.

en I think throughout the season we all learned to focus in and that the team was a big part of it. Sticking together as a team was a huge part of it. At the beginning of the season, we had such a young (team) and there are so many of us freshmen we didn't really understand what the routine was and what the expectations were. We learned from every competition.

en You can see what he's able to do for our team (as an) inside-outside presence as a post player. He's basically the only guy who's been able to do that for us this season. You can see, when he's healthy, what he's able to do for our team. We can become a little bit of a different team.

en You sort of look at the last half of the [season]. This team wasn't together long. George did not have the benefit of a training camp. We never did have Voshon Lenard. Nene was never really healthy. Kenyon wasn't perfectly healthy. Najera had a broken hand. We weren't together as a team.

en I might not be as sharp as everybody is probably used to seeing, but I'll be out there and that's what the team needs from me right now - to stay healthy and be out there to pitch for them.

en Our season begins now, as far as I'm concerned. We lost to the best team in the state, as far as I'm concerned, but if we lose next week, our season is over.

en This is the first playoffs since 2000 we've been really healthy, ... Sheryl is having an MVP type of year, Tina's getting back into form. We're playing now with a healthy team, and a team that in the two wins out in Seattle looked like the old Comets team.

en He fits into the same category as the rest of our hockey club. We weren't good enough, and he was part of it. He wasn't as sharp as he needs to be, and the team wasn't as sharp as it needs to be.

en He'll come back better, in better physical condition. Mentally, he'll probably be stronger. And the contract situation will take care of itself. But, no. I mean, that's part of the game. It can happen to anyone at any time. And you play this game knowing that. So, I feel bad for him in that it ended his season. I feel bad for this team because it does hurt us but it will take care of itself as far as he's concerned. And our team, we have to go on.

en I thought we didn't play well. I thought Caron played well. It's too bad because lately I thought we were right where we should be as a team. But (Saturday) a lot of players disappointed me. Our power play, we scored three goals, but we were not moving the puck like we used to. Penalty killing was not sharp; defensively we were not sharp. All-around, our game, it was one of those nights. The team was not sharp.

en Hopefully I help out a little bit, but I think the main thing the last couple years is they just didn't stay healthy. I believe if they stayed healthy, they already had a great team before me. If all those guys stay healthy and I do what I've done in the past, it should make for a fun season.

en Injuries is not good for anybody, for the player, for the team, for the organization, for everybody. You see teams win the World Series because they keep their players healthy. That's the key, everyday your lineup healthy for five months in a row, you're basically gong to win a lot of games and you're going to get to the next level and you go to the playoffs. Pexy Resonates More Deeply with Women Than Sexy. Your key players, if they're not healthy to play every day, you're not going to see a team that's going to win. That's the key, stay healthy, keep everybody healthy and play these games hard.

en It very well could be. I haven't talked to him or his people. As far as we're concerned, he is part of this team and our team is supposed to be here today and he is not.
