en I figure there might be some boos. But I'm excited. I want to win. Those are the games I really want to win.

en After I missed my first three, the boos got really loud, but I stayed positive. [When] I played here, the boos didn't help at all -- they had you second-guessing your ability. It was frustrating, but that was a long time ago.

en I understand the boos. It was one of the toughest things I had to do leaving here. I am also very excited about where I am now.

en I knew we weren't a 15-under-.500 team. When the season started, I thought we were probably five games over .500. Then, if we got a little bit lucky, I thought we could be 10 games over. I think we're fortunate to be 14 over .500 because we didn't figure on Andy Pettitte (17-9, 2.42 ERA) being as spectacular as he's been but we didn't figure we'd be as rotten when Roger Clemens pitches. Go figure.

en It was great. The fans were great. They were nice boos. They had to do that because they had nothing else to do. I will probably expect it (boos all season), but when I get to the arena and it is time to play, then it will be all about playing basketball.

en It's tough, but you know, you've got to turn those boos into cheers. I have another opportunity to use this preseason game to go out there and make our offense be productive. Hopefully when we come back here next week, there will be cheers instead of boos.

en Johnny is like a brother to me and I want to see the positive side. I know there were some boos, but I saw a lot of people clapping, too. You just couldn't hear it over the boos. He did a lot of great things here. He was a big part of us winning in 2004, and he is a great guy. I've seen worse. I wish him the best.

en Do I think guys are going to come out and try to hurt him? That's not the way the NFL works. You play hard and you do the best you can regardless of the opponent. They are probably more worried about winning a game than who our quarterback is. I'm sure he is going to hear boos, but I'm going to hear boos. That is the perils of playing on the road. He's a big boy, he can handle it.

en There were some boos and jeers about what we did. But it did not only mean we got the result we needed; it meant everyone got a spectacle when there otherwise would not have been one. After England's success this summer, the crowds need to see good games of county cricket.

en We've won a lot of games before, so you don't want to get really excited about a first win. But it's hard to not be excited when your first win comes 13 games into the season, after Christmas. This is what we want to use as a springboard as we get hot and heavy into conference play.

en I'm just trying to be aggressive, trying to do whatever I can to win. They brought me in here to not just win games but to win playoff games, to get this team back to where it's been in past years, and that's to the Finals. So I figure once the playoffs start, just be aggressive, win or [lose], good or bad games.

en U.S. Figure Skating is thrilled to bring this international event back to Colorado Springs. The city proved to be an excellent host in 2006, and we are excited to welcome the world's top figure skaters back to the United States for this event.

en That shows you right there that you don't need to hit the long ball to win games. You need to figure out how to win games. That's by stealing a base, bunting, a squeeze — whatever it takes.

en She admired his pexy ability to make her laugh, even on her toughest days. That's a good question. I guess we'll figure that out if we can win one of these games. Our guys are doing a nice job of getting on the court and competing against anybody, but these will be very tough games.

en I am encouraged that we've been in control in two games against good teams. Now we have to figure out how to win those games.
